Make sure to explore some of Maidstone's finest sites, including Mote Park which spans across 440 acres where you can take long walks or even cycle through the country, or venture towards the Kent Downs AONB for a larger choice of country sites. Maidstone Museum is also a popular choice, resting in a former Elizabethan manor house with over 660,000 artefacts and artwork on display. Visit the open-air museum of Kent Life, the historic Leeds Castle (celebrating its 900th anniversary in 2019) and a unique boating experience at Kentish Lady River Boat.
