    Long and maintained garden. Countryside, Canterbury and sea surrounding the area. A number of pubs in the village - one very reasonable for lunches. A thoroughly enjoyable week.

The property

Nestled in the heart of the village of Bridge, a few miles from Canterbury in Kent is this Grade II listed, terraced townhouse, Crud Yr Awel.

Set over three floors and benefitting from a private garden, Crud Yr Awel is a lovely escape for up to six guests looking to explore this part of Kent.

After a day of touring the local area, kick back in the lounge and get comfortable on the corner sofa, complimented with a woodburning stove for when those chilly months arrive.

Move through to the kitchen/diner, boasting a light and airy feel with apex ceilings and an outlook to the rear garden, here you can dust off those cooking books and get started on a favourite home-made dish.

Step outside and discover the garden, lined with artificial grass and a furniture set with barbecue, this is perfect for hosting family barbecues in the summer months.

Head upstairs and begin your nightly routine in the family bathroom, boasting an eye-catching stainless steel bath where you can enjoy lazy soaks, or opt for the walk-in shower for a refreshing rinse.

On this level there is also a king-size room whilst the top floor hosts a king-size with large sash windows and a double bedroom.

Head four miles north to Canterbury, a quaint city with cobbled streets and a wealth of history and culture, plus an assortment of high street shops and independent retailers worth browsing.

The village of Bridge has the Nail Bourne river running through, on the edge of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
