A very comfortable and spotlessly clean property.

It was well equipped with good quality and comfortable furnishings as well as plenty of kitchen equipment. The welcome treats and milk were greatly appreciated and we were welcomed by the owner on arrival. It was a real home from home property. There are plenty of places to visit nearby and shops to stock up on supplies within a 10 to 15 minute drive. We would not hesitate to recommend the Milking Parlour and will certainly consider using it again when we visit family in Kent.

The Milking Parlour was very well equipped with top class appliances and kitchen china and cutlery.

Beautifully furnished throughout. A real home from home. The owners were very friendly, living on site. The only downside from our point of view was that you had to travel quite long distances to get to places of interest.

It was an absolute joy to spend time at this lovely cottage in a truly rural setting.

Equipped to the highest standards with lovely hosts making sure al was well. A return visit is a must.

Kim, Simon and Sue were the perfect hosts and Kim also took the time to show us around the farm so we could meet the animals. Our Grandson loved the Kune kune pigs best. Thank you again.

5 star accommodation and very caring owners and as previous reviews have said top marks for cleanliness throughout. Additionally, a perfect location to explore Kent from a quiet and peaceful location.

A beautiful place to stay.

Can't fault it. The standard of accommodation and quality of furnishings is the best we have experienced in the many years we have been holidaying this way. It is also very well placed for visiting many areas in Kent and Cranbrook which is around 4 miles away has everything you could wish for, even though it is a small market town. You will not be disappointed with either the Milking Parlour or area.

A very clean and tidy accommodation ,nice and spacious rooms, very deceptive from the outside but like the TARDIS inside, plenty of Nat Trust properties to visit.

A very nice pub the called the Bell and Jorrocks ( best to book ) a 5min drive away. We were a bit early to see the turkeys but had the pleasure of seeing lots of rare breed sheep and their baby lambs not to mention ginger and biscuit the two pigs. The Cottage was warm, comfortable and very clean. It is very well equipped and met all our needs. It is in a quiet, pretty and very rural location but not too far from several very attractive villages and National Trust properties etc. The owners, Kim and Simon were very friendly and on hand when needed.

We loved our stay here!

The accommodation was very comfortable, with a great sofa and a comfy king sized bed. The kitchen was well equipped, and all was very clean. We loved their friendly pigs too. It's in a great location for seeing castles/gardens of Kent and we also had a trip to Rye and the coast. The hosts were helpful and friendly. We hope to return one day.

A well equipped and comfortable property just outside the beautiful village of Frittenden.

It was very quite at night. 100% polyester bedding would never be my choice, especially given the heat at the time of our stay. Nobody else has mentioned this so I assume I am in a minority on this point. We would definitely book again if visiting the area.

Very comfortable, very clean, and in an excellent location.

It had all the facilities we needed (including a washing machine, which isn't mentioned in the listing but should be), everything worked as it should, and the beds were comfy. The location is rural and very peaceful, and the owners are friendly and approachable but not intrusive. There are so many things to do nearby that we were busy the whole week and still have things we couldn't fit in this time so will have to come back again...hurrah!

The Milking Parlour was just lovely.

Very clean and comfortable and equipped with everything you would need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The area is full of interesting places to visit, whether you want to stay local or go further afield. Would highly recommend. Kim kindly showed us her large flock of 2 week old turkeys, as well as the pigs and sheep they have there. Lovely peaceful surroundings.

Excellent although e di feel uncomfotable in the top bedroom.

We had to have the veluxwindow open because of the heat but when it drizzled the rain ran down on to the carpet. There was a very clever looking Dyson fan but we didn't find any istructuions which may have helped

The beds were very comfortable. Kim and Simon were very helpful and accommodating. My son loved watching the animals and Kim was very kind to allow him to feed them. Such a highlight for him. The location is fabulous: green and quiet. The fireplace was a huge bonus! Top marks from all aspects

We had a great holiday with "The Milking Parlour" as a truly perfect home base.

The cottage is just perfect for a holiday in Kent. The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and provides everything you need for a self catering holiday, up to the opportunity to buy - delicious - meat of the farm's own livestock (beef, pork and lamb). It is so well equipped (e.g. there is a washing machine not even mentioned in the house description) and cosy. The sheltered outside sitting area is just perfect to enjoy the peaceful quiet of the location. The cottage is on a working farm, but there was absolutely no disturbence. You don't even hear the freeranging turkeys behind the barn, as they don't make any noises as long as they don't see a human *ggg*. We will definitely recommend the cottage to our friends and hope to be back next year, as there's still so much do discover. The owners, Kim and Simon, were so friendly and attentive. Thanks so much, again, for even providing logs for the woodburner (so cosy!!!).

Unbelievably clean and pristine property set in a most peaceful area of Kent.

A comfortable 5 night stay with everything one could possibly need to hand. With the bonus of warm sunshine we sat outside watching the world go by and listening to abundant bird and wildlife around us.

Absolutely spotless, you can tell the owners take pride in their accommodation. The area was so peaceful, relaxing and the birdsong in the morning lovely! Don’t hesitate…just book !!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cottage!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. I brought handwash/dishwasher tablets etc and found everything was prepared.The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. My 7-year-old boy went to feed the animals every morning and didn’t want to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

Fabulous short break at The Milking Parlour and we really cannot fault it.

Spacious accommodation, spotlessly clean with everything you could need. There was a friendly welcome when we arrived, and thoughtful gifts of milk, fresh apple juice, crisps and sweets - much appreciated by our 15-year old! The quiet location is ideal for enjoying a cuppa in the courtyard garden with the sounds of the sheep in the distance, but equally well-placed to explore the surrounding countryside. The food and welcome at the local pub is not to be missed! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A fantastic little property, modern and very stylish.

Would happily return and if anyone was looking for somewhere in the vicinity I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place. Only briefly bumped into the owners but they were friendly and had left some welcome treats for us. It might look small from the outside but it’s lovely and spacious within. Get booking people
