  • "Really relaxing stay at Songbirds."

I have a reactive dog and the owner Carrie was so understanding. She gave us our space but called to check everything was ok and if I needed anything. The cabin is cosy and really comfortable with everything you need, I haven’t slept so well in ages. The area is lovely and we had some great woodland and countryside walks from the cabin. There is a really helpful book with loads of information about the area, walks, restaurants etc and what a lovely touch leaving some bread, eggs and local marmalade. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.

Thank you for coming Hannah and I am so glad you and Kenny (dog) had a great time. Thank you too for this great review, it is good to hear that your expectations were met and you had such a relaxing time. Perhaps we will see you again for another short break away. Property Owner

  • "The owner Carrie and her lovely dogs gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived."

Songbirds was just as described, beautiful and very peaceful. There was everything there that you could need, and there was also a folder with easy instructions for everything in the hut, also local walks and other local info. A nice little extra was some lovely fresh eggs, rolls, milk, butter and marmalade.

It was so good to meet you Amy and very good luck with your house hunting. We hope that you and Riley will come visiting us again. Property Owner

  • "This was our 2nd stay here."

Carrie and Mike are very friendly and live next door. The eggs and marmalade were delicious as well as the butter and milk. The area is so peaceful. Mike and Carrie dogs are lovely. Songbirds is perfect for a couple and a dog. Our dog Preston loved the freedom of going out when he wanted to . Tenterden is just down the road which has a heritage railway and loads of antique shops,a Waitrose and a Tesco superstore.

We are looking forward to seeing you again before your impending move. Good luck with all the plans. Property Owner
