Lovely cottage, beds were extremely comfortable .
Cleaning was good but missed few places around shower door . Unfortunately downstairs porch smelt of mildew to . Toilet needed new ball in Toilet for flushing could be quite noisy at night which should of been done before our stay Hot tub was lovely just the right temperature but unfortunately lights did not work on it .which would of been lovely on at night .Although few problems really enjoyed very quiet clean good condition furniture fabulous TV channel for night time as out through the day. Beautiful place lots to do and see walking excellent. Great for dog walkers ,We would return .We would recommend it . Excellent value too. We never used kitchen as ate out but plenty of utility in the kitchen. But would recommend need more than one tea towel for three days as would of liked to change daily. Plus wasn't staff on reception throughout the day which would of made things easier to get things sorted. One thing they could also do would be small welcome pack few teabags, coffees, washing up liquid and small milk would be good thing to have as shops are in keswick town ,not on the door step . Handy after long days drive to cottage plus keys after three so welcome basket would of been greatfuly appreciated by all .
Overall really lovely stay.
Positives - lovely cottage, fantastic location, great for kids and dogs. Absolutely breathtaking scenery, excellent walks and hiking options. Loved the hot tub. Really friendly staff. Cons - no EV charger and no email or notification to say not working, no laundry facilities and when it’s pouring with rain daily there is no way to wash or importantly dry clothes. Only towel changes after 5 days and no midstay clean which would have been very welcome. Cafe prices were crazy high, a bottle of pop for the kids being £2.50.
Beautiful cottage with all the amenities we needed.
Loved the hot tub.
