  • “Fantastic apartment, even better than the pictures.”

Loved the view our the door to catbells and other nearby hills. Close enough to Keswick, but also far enough for some peace and quiet. Would love to come and stay here again.

This property is part of the Heart Of The Lakes collection.
We are a Local Lake District business offering a wide range of Lake District cottages, apartments and houses; some old, some modern and something for every taste, but ALL within the National Park and therefore in the heart of one of Britain's loveliest corners.

The property

Tethera is a fabulous, two-bedroom ground floor apartment in Fieldside Grange, a grand slate building, originally a farmhouse, which has been converted into apartments.

The house stands on a hillside above Keswick with panoramic views over majestic fells.

A truly idyllic location.

Accessed by a private driveway, it is enchantingly set in two acres of unspoiled Lakeland countryside, yet is only one and a half miles from the pretty market town of Keswick.

It is ideal for a family or two couples. Walk into the communal entrance hall where you will find your front door.

Store your outdoor gear in the handy utility room and find a beautiful open concept L-shaped room, which has been lovingly arranged into kitchen, dining and living areas to create a warm and sociable living space.

Walk over to admire your fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops and your delightful dining table , imaginatively placed near the patio doors, with views to Cat Bells and surrounding fells.

Then, relax for a while on your comfortable suite by the attractive electric fire and imagine lovely family evenings in this cosy space.

You will find two lovely bedrooms: a double bedroom with a king size bed, and a twin bedroom.

Both bedrooms are spacious and have attractive beamed ceilings.

Your large and beautifully presented bathroom has a bath with separate shower unit.

Walk through the door at the far end of the hall and explore your extensive shared grounds.

Take in the majestic scene all around you and anticipate exciting adventures in this truly beautiful part of the world. You will find a welcoming pub just a half mile away from your doorstep.

Marvel at the site of the ospreys from the outdoor viewpoints at Dodd Wood.

where high powered telescopes and binoculars are provided.

Keswick offers, specialist shops, excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs, market days twice a week, a renowned theatre, well-loved cinema and much more.

Walk from the centre of Keswick, through Hope Park to the shore of beautiful Derwentwater, have a bite to eat at the Theatre by the Lake’s popular café, then enjoy a scenic cruise.
