Brews Cottage

Great cottage, well equipped, comfortable and located close to centre.

Ideal for short break. Having two bathrooms was ideal but the individual toilet didn’t flush but I’m sure it will be fixed soon.

The accommodation was first class.

Everything for our stay was there. It was very comfortable and it was a bonus having 2 bathrooms. The apartment was very close to Fitz Park and the centre of Keswick. The supermarket (Booth’s) was a five minute drive and this too was a first class supermarket. The market was in the high street on a Thursday and Saturday and the choice of goods and high street shops were really good. We were fortunate the week we stayed it was very sunny but the selection of board games and books would entertain all of the family on a wet day. The only downside was it property would benefit from some outside seating and umbrella. There was an outside table on the patio. I would definitely come back. Alexina Clark.

Nice location to the town.

Lovely walks all around. Parking is not great. Had to reverse from part way down especially when other cars are parked and the space is tight and not an obvious parking spot. Addition of the fans in all rooms was great particularly as we had a very hot week there.

Enjoyed our stay at Brews cottage ,parking was a struggle if other cars were parked but we always managed even with a large car.

Beds really comfortable as were sofa and chair .Ideally situated for the park for dog walking and town center. We would definitely recommend and will book again without hesitation.

Comfortable sofa and beds. Kitchen well equipped but No dog bowls. Details on cleanliness could be better, quite a few cobwebs and property a little cluttered but would stay again.

It's a lovely cottage well equipped and very comfy.

Bonus on location perfect and dog friendly. The down side is it's not easy to find hidden away and the instructions isn't very clear..could do with better instructions other than a post code .other than that it's perfect for family's.

The cottage was expensive so I expected a higher standard of accommodation.

Although the double beds and two bathrooms were absolutely fine, the downstairs is open plan, hard to heat and dark . It has no outlook. The central heating system was old and the thermostat was high up on a wall initially hard to find as no instructions. It was difficult to get right temperature for upstairs which is cosy to barn like downstairs. There was no heating on when we arrived late PM with snow on hills. It took ages to warm up. That was a very bad start as we could not find thermostat at first. The kitchen was well equipped. It could benefit from a note from the owners about heating, best way to park, which bin etc. Also a groceries cupboard would be helpful. It's in a great location and beds great, the rest of it left a good bit to be desired. It's very hard to find, a verbal description would help as there are different cottages with similar names.

The cottage was very comfortable and spacious with everything you need.

Great location just a few minutes walk into the town centre. Very clean and a nice touch with the hospitality package.We were a tiny bit chilly on our last night as the gas fire didn’t seem to go above a certain setting but that could of just been us not working it properly

Center of keswick ideal

This cottage was very good for our week in the Lake District.

It had everything we needed with equipment, kitchen appliances, two bathrooms plus a toilet, and two good bedrooms. The cottage wasn't easy to find - my satnav took us to the wrong place, and the lane looks like someone's private drive, so a sign on Station Road would be useful. There was some central heating and a good gas fire, but the cottage was rather cold for a winter stay. We managed to block a sink one day but your office in Keswick got a plumber the following day, thank you.

The property is fantastic.

The only small issue is the parking area is quite small if you have a large car and requires some tight reversing techniques to get into the spot, especially if neighbours cars are parked. In all however the property is fantastic and in a great location.
