  • "We had a fabulous stay at this comfortable and beautifully appointed cottage."

The short stroll into town was a real bonus and our grandson loved the park which is opposite the cottage and again only a few minutes walk away. Keswick itself is lovely with plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs. We would love to stay in Crow Cottage again in the future.

  • "A beautiful, well equipped, comfortable cottage, in a perfect location just a short walk from the centre of Keswick."

The secluded garden was lovely. Would gladly stay again

  • "The property was well maintained and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay with the family including a 16 mth old toddler."

It was very quiet despite the proximity to the Penrith Rd and the parking for two cars great. Couple of points to note, the cot provided doesn't have a mattress so check out its dimensions if you want to use it. Also the garden is not secure due to a gap in the hedge by the gates. We were able to block it off by moving a wooden structure so that our grandson couldn't easily escape. That said, we would certainly stay there again.

  • "Generally a lovely house in a very central location."

We enjoyed our stay enormously and would likely return. The essentials are great - plenty of hot water, effective heating and comfy beds. We loved the 3D map of the fells and the little touches like board games and Beatrix Potter books. There were only a few details that would have made our stay perfect. The travel cot provided is not really suitable for a baby to use as the 'mattress' that it comes with is far too hard. It meant that we were unable to use this for our 10 month old daughter, which was very difficult. The WiFi signal throughout the house isn't brilliant - this was only a problem for us as baby monitors depend on WiFi signal. It also seems to affect the smart TV in the lounge as it cannot connect.

  • "What a beautiful cottage, in the most perfect location!"

5 minutes walk (if that) from the main shopping area in Keswick and space for 2 cars to park safely. We were absolutely blown away by Crow Cottage. It was so clean, luxurious and with lovely modern touches. The communication we had with the owners prior to our stay, and also the housekeeper during our time there was brilliant. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend & rebook ourselves.

  • "Lovely cottage , only downside was due to the cold weather we found it very cold in both living rooms."

Smaller living room has a radiator completely blocked by furniture. And the larger room is serviced by a really small radiator partially blocked by furniture , radiators in the bay window would help.

A problem with the fridge which was not resolved until 4 days after arrival, poor and rude customer service at the time, wrongly blaming us for the fault Slow response to complaint required chasing up with no apology and inadequate compensation As regular and loyal customer I am extremely disappointed with Sykes

Well positioned for all the facilities of Keswick and good as a base for many walks. Clean and comfortable. Relaxing and luxurious. Couldn't ask for more!
