Everything you could need in the property, town short walk away with lots of choice to eat out, shop and even a theatre. Owners more than helpful and a great location to explore the northern lakes

Very comfortable house with a well equipped kitchen. Well maintained garden with hot tub. Only a short walk into the centre of Keswick.

Our second visit to Heathfield.

Again a really clean and very warm house that is perfect for two couples and a dog. The location is ideal for the town annd Fitz Park and with parking behind the house, there is no need to use the car at all unless you wish to travel further afield. The house has three bathrooms and, if hot tubs are your thing (it wasn’t ours but I know it is for lot s of others!) you can also soak away your days walking in the tub after a sauna. Walking distance easy access to both the Keswick to Threkeld Railway path and routes up to a range of peaks including the Skiddaw range and a quick local ascent of Latrigg. Highly recommended!

We had an enjoyable stay at this property!

The house was homely and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is excellent—very convenient for exploring the Keswick area. We were particularly impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was upon arrival. The owners manage the property themselves and obviously take a great deal of care looking after it. The large enclosed garden was a huge plus for our dogs, and the hot tub was a wonderful treat for the adults. Heathfield is a great choice for a relaxing break and we would rebook to stay here again.

Beautifully furnished and decorated, wonderful welcome pack. super clean, lovely garden with views, hot tub and a sauna room. Brilliant parking and so close to Keswick town centre and the the park. We will be re-booking to stay again.

Great property.

Love the fact the hot tub has a sliding side panel and retractable roof, which is not mentioned anywhere. Location on doorstep for everything. Bathrobes added bonus. Only downside would be size of kitchen. Difficult to negotiate with more than one person in it as quite narrow. Knocking down the wall between kitchen and dining room would make this property fantastic and more sociable. Would we stay again. Definitely.

The welcome pack was really lovely It's so close to the park which was perfect for early morning walks Only a 10 minute stroll into keswick town which has many great pubs and eateries and is full of lovely independent shops

The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable, extremely well equipped and the owners left many extras which were really appreciated.

Not too far to walk into town and ideally situated not far from one of the parks and the Pheasant pub.

Beautiful house with great-sized enclosed garden.

All immaculately clean and maintained (both house and garden). Fantastic hot tub and sauna facilities. Kitchen extremely well-equipped. Large, comfortable bedrooms, both en-suite with an additional family bathroom to top it all off. Even included a generous welcome pack for both the humans and the dog!

A beautiful maintained house, extremely comfortable and super clean, owners very friendly and helpful

We had a lovely stay and the house is kept to a very high standard, sauna and hot tub were very welcome and used after our long walks.

The only thing I will say and this isn’t a criticism but the beds just generated so much heat which all 4 of us experienced. Waterproof mattress protection is a must but mine at home doesn’t generate heat so we can’t understand why we were so hot.

Heathfield is as close to perfect as it can be.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. The garden is perfect for our dogs and the location with Fitz Park just across the road was the icing on the cake. We will be booking Heathfield again very soon.

Very nice well kept property in a great location.

Couldn’t have asked for more, we liked all the little finishing touches like providing towels and a place to dry the dog, tissues and kitchen roll and cling film and clean products in the kitchen. These are so often overlooked in other holiday homes and it was refreshing to not have to worry about going to the shops to get hold of these things. The only minor problem was that the mattresses felt like they were a bit worn. Other than that we had a truly excellent week.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this exceptionally clean and comfortable home. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. The welcome pack was extensive and very welcome. The hot tub was really lovely on a cold winters day. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and would love to book again.

The house is wonderfully presented, clean, cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is immaculate and well equipped and bathrooms are lovely. The bedrooms are cosy with so many nice touches including the bath robes. Heathfield is well looked after by the owners. It benefits from being in a great location for the park and with a lovely walk into town. So grateful for the stay we had here and would highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous week at Heathfield.

Everything was catered for with lots of lovely details like bath robes, coffee pods and fizz. Brought lots of things not often provided in holiday homes, but didn't need any of them. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Can't wait to return!

This property might just be the nicest property we have ever rented.

It is immaculate. The owners have provided every amenity one could hope for. They were very helpful in up keeping the hot tub to the highest standards. The property is convenient to walk to town either by the main road or a lovely pedestrian path along the river. We cannot recommend this property more highly.

Lovely house in a great location about 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick for all shops, bars and restaurants (very dog friendly) with the open market on Saturday and Thursday well worth a visit.

Another 10 mins leisurely stroll to edge of Derwent water. Heathfield house is perfect, well equipped (thought of everything) and spotless. Weather was kind to us so able to used the bbq and the hot tub after a long walk… amazing and relaxing. We all had a great week and would highly recommend Heathfield, we most definitely will be back.

Fantastic house in a great location.spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The welcome pack and doggy treats and blankets were a lovely surprise. Hot tub and sauna were so relaxing after a long walk. Stayed with my parents and they were so impressed. Plenty of room for us all, 2 en suites, 1 family bathroom and an extra separate toilet. 10 minute walk to the Center of Keswick and all it’s shops, pubs and restaurants and just a further 5 minutes to beautiful Derwentwater. This has to be the best accommodation I have stayed in, thank you for a great holiday and we will be back!

Property owner was very helpful I think the info re the use of jacuzzi should be in a more prominent place perhaps on the wall in the kitchen as well as the place in the hall.

My fault as a regular user of cottages I tend to know what is required but had overlooked informing the owner of not using the jacuzzi

Absolutely loved this house , very well equipped and only about 10 minutes to Keswick centre, would definitely recommend Heathfield, it was spotlessly clean and with having 2 en suites was a bonus , it also had a separate toilet and another separate bathroom, we met the owner who was a very nice and helpful man , we didn't have any dogs with us but if we had they would be well catered for also,would just like to say a very big thank you for a lovely holiday xxxx

We have been booking holidays in Cumbria for 35 years.

Our main priority is good location, a dishwasher and good facilities for our dog, ideally a secure garden. This has now changed. For the first time we had a hot tub. Our gorgeous Easter walking holiday had the added luxury facility, which was a game changer. Thank you so much.

Absolutely superb in all aspects.

The owners, Jan and Les obviously care very much about making their guests very comfortable by all their thoughtful little extras and they really have everything covered. The welcome pack was the most generous we have ever had and there was even two very comfortable pet blankets for our dog, together with some delicious treats for him. I booked the weekend to celebrate my Husband’s 50th birthday and we were so delighted - Heathfield made this special occasion most memorable. Everything was great the only small problem was that there weren't an instructions on what to do with rubbish or bedding so we just had to guess.

Absolutely spotless, fantastic position in Keswick. Perfect if you are thinking of taking your dog with you. Owner’s thought of absolutely everything to make our stay just perfect ! It’s a credit to them, I can honestly say it was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. We was that impressed we are going to book for next year !
