  • "We really loved Manesty View."

It is a warm, cosy comfortable holiday let. It was so quiet. The view from the kitchen is gorgeous and every morning I would have my coffee looking out of the window. It is very homely due to the decoration and furnishings. We spent a few evenings in just watching telly because we felt just so comfortable in the property. Everything we needed was provided including tin foil , pizza cutter, hairdryer etc ....We felt as if we could live there permanently. I highly recommend staying in this holiday let xx

  • "We'd stayed in Manesty view before, but in a different property, so we new we were in a great location."

The cottage on first impression, was excellent, well equipped, decent kitchen ware & utensils, an issue in some properties, but not here. The cottage is well maintained & clean, although, I should mention, the faucet on the kitchen sink kept coming loose, I tightened it several times, but only finger tight as there was no tool to tighten it properly, other than this, there were no issues. The view across to the northwestern fells & toward Skiddaw/Latrigg, is fantastic, especially from the lovely patio, (amazing garden). With easy access to Keswick town centre & it's excellent resraurants & shops, we couldn't be in a better location. We've stayed in many holiday cottages over many years, 99.5% of their owners provide a welcome pack, ie, pint of milk in the fridge, small loaf of bread, bottle of wine, etc, it's a nice touch to holiday renters initial welcome, this, of course is just a suggestion.

The view of Keswick from the back garden was excellent. My only complaint would be the steep walk up to the property. However what can you expect at Keswick,, The walk was well worth it Les Beattie

Everything we needed for a restful break. Central heating was excellent. Great views ( when not Misty). Plenty of seating in the garden to catch the sun wherever it happened to shine. No through traffic on the road was a bonus. It was very quiet all week. Will come again.

  • "Lovely location and superb view from the back garden."

The property was well equipped (included patio furniture too) and had a homely feel. We were glad there was a freezer (listing says fridge). The table in the kitchen was fine for two, but would be a squeeze with more people. We would have liked a DVD player, but otherwise there was everything we needed.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay at the bungalow and thanks for pointing out there is a fridge and freezer and found the view superb from the back. Property Owner

Brilliant location and view. Clean and good facilities. My only minor suggested improvement is I could not find anywhere in the garden to stand the provided rotary washing line. A second key would also be good. But they are just minor quibbles. Excellent stat

Thank you for your comment and pleased you found the cottage to your liking and hope you will consider returning to enjoy another holiday here. We will make the place on patio for rotary line easier to locate. Property Owner

Far exceeded our expectations. Really spotless and welcoming and well equipped and such lovely views from the windows. really nice garden. It overlooks Keswick with stunning views of the mountains from the terraced garden. It’s an easy walk into the town though would say this let is not suitable for those with mobility problems because of the steps down to the bungalow. Lucky enough to to have brilliant weather. However we were concerned that unlike the other properties in the road, there were no facilities to put recyclable rubbish and were told to put it in the general rubbish bin for collection. All other places we have rented for holidays give details of separate bins for paper, glass ,plastic etc. Not sure how the owners are exempt in this day and age?
