  • "The details about a super king bed are completely untrue and ruined our stay."

There is no bed that size. Unfortunately I am unable to email anyone as Sykes don't use emails anymore I am told by their help centre so its on here instead.

Hi. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay due to the bed situation. We don't actually advertise a superking bed. The master has a king-size bed and the other bedrooms are double beds, we also have a twin bedroom. Apologies if you were told otherwise. Property Owner

  • "Lovely house in a great location."

Off street parking brilliant. Loved the Toon pictures! Would definitely record.

  • "This was our first stay at Noble Cottage."

It was lovely! Major bonus being the parking space out the back right by back door! As parking can be difficult in busy months - so this was great! Also the location is fabulous - minutes walk to the town and shops and also to the nearest co-op. The property was clean and well equipped and a lovely base to return to after a day out and about! Lovely to have a bottle of prosecco on arrival and some biccies! The steps to the 2nd floor are v steep so be careful! We enjoyed our stay and will probably be back! Thanks!

  • "In 50 years of coming to keswick and staying in a holiday cottage Noble House is the best one for comfort , facilities and being near the town Centre."

It was like staying in some ones much loved family home. Being dog friendly was great but the real bonus, after many years of scouring the streets for parking ,was that a parking space is provided at the back of the property . We will definitely be coming back to Noble House. The only query I have is why it's listed as accommodation for 6 when it clearly can comfortably take 8 people. ? Plus, there are 3 toilets which is not obvious from the description . Only minor details I know but if, as is usually the case , I was looking to book a holiday home for my family of 8 people then Noble Cottage is one I would have scrolled by.

  • "Thank you for a wonderful stay at Noble Cottage - the cottage was really modern and very comfortable, with a high spec on all the facilities."

... exactly what we’re looking for when we’re on holiday. We loved the personal touch of welcoming us with a bottle of bubbles and some nibbles when we arrived! The location was amazing and really central to everything in Keswick! Found a beautiful park close by, some lovely pubs and some great takeaways. It was brilliant that we could enjoy such a great family holiday and bring our well behaved dog with us - we had 3 generations under 1 roof and everyone had the space they needed. I was really pleased to see that the cottage was so clean ( especially after I’d read a recent review that said it needed some extra attention). We look forward to visiting again next year!

  • "The house was nice and in a good location, however it felt grubby and needed a deep clean."

Also it talked about using the producers in the house to clean it when leaving, we could not find the products…. Thanks Also it is advertised as a three bedroom when it has four double rooms, worth changing this on the listing

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the time taken to send your observations which we have now discussed with the owner. The Lakelovers housekeeping team will address your comments re products and extra clean. On recommendation by Visit England for guest comfort Noble Cottage is advertised as 3 bedroomed due to the size of the property and facilities on offer. Thank you once again for your feedback and we do hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

  • "The bins were nearly full when we arrived and there was no instructions about bin day and what has to happen to them so by the time we left we had to put sacks of rubbish on top of the bins which isn’t great for the next group of guests."

Also one of the bedrooms wasn’t made up ready to sleep in.
