  • "We had a lovely stay at Noble Knott."

The bungalow is very comfortable and was clean on arrival. We've stayed at similar bungalows in this area of Keswick before, and thought the layout of Noble Knott was great with a dining table in the lounge area rather than in the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, it was great to have the dishwasher too. The black out blind in the twin bedroom is brilliant to have. It's easy to walk into the centre of Keswick from here, and it's a lovely town to visit. The listing does need updating though, as there is no DVD player or books. There was a set of dominoes and some playing cards but no other games. Just if you're travelling with children it's worth knowing so you can plan what entertainment to bring for those rainy days. Luckily we had good weather so were out and about most of the time. We would definitely stay here again - many thanks!

  • "This is a clean & comfortable holiday let, but when it comes to the crunch it is a semi detached estate bungalow with no open views from the property."

The garden is small & dishevelled. The attached neighbours start to go to bed, we assume that is what they are doing, after 11pm with loud talking & knocks. OK if you are late to bed yourself but we are not. In the kitchen the window is blown blocking what little view there is of the mountains. The dinner plates are very heavy and cannot be stood up on the drying rack safely. We do not use dishwashers. The hot water takes a long time to come through thus wasting the cold run off. The large shower is great & the sofas comfy. Keswick & it's surrounding area are amazing & this bungalow is well situated to take full advantage of everything on offer. We had an immensely enjoyable holiday, even to taking advantage of the mixed weather. Please thank the owners for the use of this accommodation.

Thank you for your review. I have no control over level of noise from neighbours and this apartment is in one of the quietest areas of Keswick. Your comments re plates have been noted and lighter weight ones are now being installed. The garden is due to be tidied next week and we have ordered replacement glass for the kitchen window. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and I appreciate your comments which help to ensure standards kept up. Property Owner

Met Lorraine, the housekeeper, who was really lovely, checked that everything was working and if there was anything we needed. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Having use of the garage to store the bike was great. We would definitely use again

  • "This was a very clean, warm and well equipped property."

The small problem we encountered at the beginning was dealt with quickly and effectively by the electrician. The decor was tastefully done and the kitchen equipped with everything needed for a self catering stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the central heating easy to control. We had a wonderfully relaxing week (when we were not out on the fells) and wouldn't hesitate to reccommend this property to others.

  • "A warm, clean ,well equipped bungalow."

An easy flat 10 min walk to Keswick town centre, the only issue we had was parking on the very very steep drive,it scraped the underside of the car. So we just parked on the road which wasn't a problem ,its a quiet cul de sac. Would def return to this property ,as long as the price does not become silly.

Would definitely recommend.

  • "Very enjoyable stay."

Clean and comfortable. Garage is a bonus for storing bikes. Great views. Perfect for explring Keswick without the car. A very minor criticism would be not enough kitchen cupboard space for food and maybe a cafetiere but these are not huge issues.

Many thanks for your feedback. Sorry about cafetiere missing as one is supplied. I will check with cleaner as perhaps it has been removed. Property Owner

It is a little rough around the edges in some places but I think that could be due to the age of the property but all in all a lovely place to stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again in fact we are thinking of re booking in the Autumn.
