  • "We all 4 loved Oaklea so comfortable and a beautiful back garden to sit out."

Quite near to the park with a lovely little cafe and about 10 mins into town.

Fantastic feedback, thanks. Delighted you loved your stay at Oaklea. Property Owner

  • "This is a very comfortable and restful holiday home."

The conservatory is an addition to the lovely lounge and the views from here and the kitchen are stunning. We were able to make use of the patio twice and that was a real bonus. The place was spotless and very well equipped. The en-suite is a little challenging and tight but we managed okay. The owner is easily contacted if needed. We definitely recommend this home and would book again.

Thanks for your excellent feedback, we’d love to welcome you back to Oaklea another time. Property Owner

  • "This is a clean, well equipped house in a quiet street, quite close to the town center."

Greater control over the heating would be good, especially as it was, at times, chilly. Also beware of the overhang above the en-suite toilet - it can be lethal!

Thank you for your feedback. We always strive to give guests the best time at Oaklea and, as written on the welcome letter, we live nearby and can be contacted anytime - to alter the heating etc if needed. Property Owner

  • "The location is great."

It is easy to walk to Keswick town centre. The house is tidy and comfy. While the facilities and appliances are fully functional, some of them (e.g. TV, microwave) are a bit old.

It’s great to read you enjoyed the comfort and handiness of Oaklea. The 50” smart TV was installed brand new in June this year when our holiday let was opened. We’ve taken your feedback on board and will look to replace the microwave which is not new, but is reliable Property Owner

  • "Excellent accommodation in a great location close to Keswick centre."

Only minor thing we wanted to mention was the toilet seat in the en suite was wobbly when we arrived and came off about half way through our stay. Otherwise everything was perfect and we stripped all the beds before leaving to make life easier for the cleaner.

Thanks for your great feedback, we’re pleased you loved your stay at Oaklea. Apologies re the toilet seat, it was noticed on your departure and fixed the same day. Property Owner

  • "Comfortable, airy and clean property in a good location just 10 minutes walk to the centre of Keswick and a good base for the many hill walks around the town."

The ensuite is rather confined but you get used to it. You can see Skiddaw from the the house which enthused us to bag the summit on the last day of the holiday.

Thanks for your nice review. It’s good to read you enjoyed Oaklea and it inspired you to conquer Skiddaw! There’s lots more fells to summit on your next stay with us! Property Owner
