  • "Well appointed with all things we needed other than pizza tray and pizza wheel"

Thanks so much for your positive feedback and apologies that a pizza tray and wheel was not provided. We have now purchased these items and will be bringing them up during our January visit to the cottage. Kind regards Andrea and Mark Property Owner

  • "The upstairs and bathroom was very cold."

Luckily we were able to use one of the duvets from the spare room to keep warm at night as the duvets were very thin. The shower temperature was scalding hot but unable to turn down. Some lamps in the living room would have been lovely. There were splashes of paint of the bathroom floor and some black mould on the tiles. Some small stains on the bedding when we arrived. Other than the cottage was in a great location and also the parking was fabulous

Thank you for your feedback. There are two duvets, 4.5 and 9 tog for each bed which can be clipped together to provide 13.5 tog which should be nice and toasty. The spares can be found in the blanket box at the foot of the bed in the front bedroom, or under the bed in the rear bedroom. I have informed my Property Manager re the hot water temperature and this has been adjusted. Unfortunately some guests do interfere with the boiler settings. The central heating has two zones, the house and the bathroom and these can be separately adjusted using the Hive thermostats to suit your requirements. Kind regards Andrea and Mark Property Owner

  • "Beautifully appointed cottage, cosy and warm with everything we needed."

Easy access from the parallel street, secure garden for our dog, dedicated parking. Lounge window is close to the pavement with passers by peering in, in daylight hours. Great entertainment for the dog !! Hope to return again in the future to enjoy the town and local fell/lake delights. Close to all local amenities, buses, shops, restaurants and superb wine bar!

Great location and the car parking space is an added bonus. We are looking at booking again next year.

Thank you for your kind feedback, it really is appreciated and we are glad you had a great stay. Thank you also for your booking for next November, its lovely when we get repeat bookings which shows people really enjoy the cottage and its surroundings. Primrose Cottage exceeded our expectations and is the most 'homely' we have stayed in. Difficult to find fault. Perfect stay really.
