The property

This modern house is situated in the popular market town of Keswick which is one of the Lake District’s most popular destinations.

Keswick hosts the very popular weekly market and offers a fantastic array of shops offering everything from craft bakeries and local produce, antiques, crafts and much, much more. Sunnybank Cottage is ideally situated with parking for one car and just a few minutes walk from all amenities and a fifteen minute walk to Derwent Water.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town, its ideal for families or friends or indeed that romantic weekend away.

On the ground floor is a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with French doors that open out onto the garden.

A lovely spot to sit and relax over a morning coffee or an evening cocktail whilst enjoying the views to the surrounding hills.

A utility area houses a washer/drier and a storage area.

This leads into a downstairs cloakroom. A smart sitting room with comfortable sofas and TV is a perfect space to relax with friends and family and enjoy a film or play board games. Choose between two en-suite bedrooms, one king and one a twin which has fantastic views across rooftops to Catbells and Skiddaw. To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed garden with furniture and a lockable storage area for bikes and a built in BBQ. For day trips throughout the Lake District, Ullswater is a short drive away offering lake cruises, great walking and the beautiful Aira Force Waterfall, Buttermere and Crummock Water offer sublime scenery.

Ashness Bridge and Surprise View situated above the Borrowdale Valley should not be missed and perhaps even a cup of tea and homemade cake in the unspoilt village of Watendlath.
