  • "The pictures do not do Highbeck justice, such a beautiful place to stay, beds so comfy, kitchen well equipped, dining and living room are a great size for a large family to relax in."

Two pubs in walking distance, plenty of walks in the area. Would not hesitate to book again.

  • "Excellent property, didn’t realise from write up that all bedrooms were en-suite so that was a good surprise."

Lots of space for 3 generational family. Children loved the stream and garden and having so much space in the house. Garden was huge. All communication was replied to straight away. Wonderful views from all the windows. Good location for Windermere and Kendal.

The old market town of Kendal is also easily accessible from Crosthwaite, with a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as entertainment for all ages at the Brewery Arts Centre.
