  • "We had a lovely break in this well appointed and comfortable apartment."

The Owners were very helpful in sorting out our problem with the wifi.

  • "We've already spoken with the property owner, Leanne and Nick."

Thanked them for their quick response and understanding when we contacted them on arrival with a concern we had and for things we did on leaving the cottage. We really enjoyed our holiday at the cottage. It was beautifully furnished and really comfortable. It was lovely to sit outside when the weather was sunny and look at stunning views.

  • "Overall, the facilities are good, but there are a few issues."

There needs to be a wastepaper bin in the lounge and bedrooms. One of the large dinner plates split in two when we were serving and a second one has a hairline crack in the same place, so that will split in the future. The shower ran at not much better than a trickle until I realised that all the rubber teats in the shower head were blocked with black gunge. I managed to clear a lot of them, but the shower head needs a serious clean, probably on a regular basis. The fan in the bathroom has a grill that is clogged with dirt and needs a really good clean. Everything else was fine, though there was a rogue car parked in the allocated parking space for a couple of days. Fortunately, one of the visitor bays was vacant so I was able to use that one.

Wonderful location and great for exploring The Lakes.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. A few people have now said that the property is far nicer than the photographs, I think we need to get them retaken! Thank you again. Property Owner

  • "Excellent location for views and walking."

Comfortable beds. Coffee machine and pods was a nice touch. I’d recommend a foot stool for the living room and an air freshener for the internal bathroom. It was a shame that flat 7 have put a double seat in the front communal garden for their’own use’ in the best position!

Thank you for the lovely comments and we are so pleased you had a lovely break with us. We have now completed another large communal seating area within the garden with views just as good as the other patio for the use of everyone and the private seat is currently under review. We hope to welcome you back soon. Property Owner

  • "Pretty much everything was spot on with this property."

Excellent location overlooking the estuary, well furnished and decorated, warm and comfortable. Highly recommended. Good to know; we found it easier to use the garden entrance, parking is free in front of the property but you need to get there at the right time. The markings in the property designated parking are faded and difficult to see.

Thank you for your lovely feed back and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at No1 Inglewood Court. The car park markings are faded and it is on the committees agenda to get them repainted this year. Property Owner

  • "This property was amazing!"

! Loved the location...right on the estuary with gorgeous views! Did lots of walks from the property so didn't always need the car. Inside the spare is just beautiful! Homely, comfortable, decorated to a high standard, all mod cons, warm. Could not fault a single thing! Beds and bedding were sooo comfy...I didn't want to leave at end of our stay. Arnside is a lovely little place for views and walks. If you're after a busy resort this isn't for you.

What a lovely review, thank you so much. It means the world to us to hear people love Inglewood and Arnside as much as we do. We put our heart and soul into what we do and its lovely to hear that people have had a wonderful holiday with us, Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Had a really great stay."

Very comfortable, warm and cosy and lovely views. Well-equipped and set up with a Christmas tree and decs which really cheered us up. Right on the prom so could be noisy at the peak of summer. No lights on the prom when we stayed in December and it was pitch black, great for star gazing if you get a clear sky, so take a torch if you are going to be moving around in the evening. A visit to the chippy is a must, 5 mins walk and you can book a pick up slot. Coffee maker was a Nespresso Vertuo and we took the capsules for the Nespresso original. Couldn’t find any pods for the Vertuo locally in Tesco or Booths and couldn’t use the ones supplied as we only drink decaff but there was a small cafetiere we used so it wasn’t a problem. We bought a couple of coffees locally to give us our expresso fix. Good pies at the bakery. Wifi good, no DVD or CD player for us old fogies so we subscribed and used the smart tvs as it was winter and we were in a lot.

Thank you for your lovely feed back and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at No1 Inglewood. We will ensure that we provide a couple more Vertuo pods in the future (including decaff), We hadn't taken it into consideration the purchase of the larger pods locally, sorry but glad you found the cafetiere! Thank you again and we hope to be welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "Great location and beautiful spacious apartment."

For 2 of us it was really comfortable. Lovely gardens overlooking the estuary and it was a surprise to see how good the views of the estuary were from a basement apartment.

You are right, the views are amazing and you wouldn't think it was a basement apartment when you are inside, which is why we love Inglewood. We are so pleased you had a lovely break and thank you for such great feedback. Property Owner

  • "We had a fabulous holiday (great weather always helps, admittedly)."

Overlooking the promenade, right on the waterfront, great views across the estuary & viaduct to Lakeland fells beyond from kitchen and lounge - did I mention the amazing sunsets?! Well-equipped kitchen, well stocked with all necessary utensils. Spacious and comfortable lounge; large double bedroom. Very close to local shops and pubs, and walks from the door (and further afield). A great (peaceful, less crowded) base for exploring the Southern Lakes and the surrounding area

  • "This is a beautifully renovated and furnished apartment at an idyllic and quiet location with unforgettable views."

The beautifully kept garden, accessible through the french doors at the kitchen and sitting room, enjoys sunshine till sunset and is a great place to unwind with a drink after a day of exploring. Also, 300 meters away is a gastro pub with friendly staff where we enjoyed good food and incredible sunsets. The descriptions and photos only offer a glimpse of what to expect, but they cannot adequately capture the feel of the place. Little touches such as tea, coffee, milk and a bottle of wine were unexpected. The owner answered all our questions and none of our calls went unanswered. Perfect place for a romantic stay and we will return at the first opportunity.

We can't thank you enough for such wonderful feedback and we are so pleased you had such lovely break away. Thank you. Property Owner

This former fishing port has retained many of the features from its past. The beautiful pier and port areas of the village offer stunning views across the Kent Estuary, as well as providing an enduring reminder of Arnside's illustrious history. To the south of the village are the 15th century Pele Towers, which were constructed to defend against the marauding Scots. The local surrounding area is a nature lover's paradise with stunning limestone pavements and wonderful woodland walks through countryside alive with rare plants, trees and wildlife. The internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is also just one mile away. Guided walks across the Kent Estuary are available, showing the full splendour of the shore and surrounding area.
