  • "The home was lovely and very spacious - plenty of room for a family or a couple of families to spread out."

The view from the back garden was fantastic and the walk to Arnside was hilly but doable.

The house has everything needed, is very spacious and clean with a lovely sunny garden for al fresco dining. Arnside itself is a lovely little village and a perfect base to explore into the lakes. We had a really lovely holiday - would totally recommend

  • "The house was beautifully clean and very comfortable."

Our party had a lovely break. It is near to lots of walks. We enjoyed the additions of wine, milk and Kendal Mint Cake. The garden was a sun trap and there was plenty of off road parking. We only have positives to say about Langtree and would definitely return.

Thank you so much, so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us at Langtree. The garden is a sun trap and in the summer months holds the sun from 10am right through to the sunset, its just beautiful, we love it! We hope we get the chance to welcome you back in the near future. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "No mention made of the steep gradients leading up to the property ( we had an elderly lady in our party)."

Fridge freezer not big enough for amount of people potentially staying at property ( maybe separate drinks fridge)?

We are very sorry that the drive was an issue. the property is built on a hill making the driveway steep in some areas leading up to the level garden at the back. Due to the layout of house having many flights of stairs to the different levels, we thought the property wouldn't be looked at for people with mobility issues so the drive was overlooked, sorry. We will look into this in the description and thank you for bringing it to our attention. The fridge freezer is a large free standing family larder, unfortunately the kitchen area can't cater for anything larger. Thank you for your feedback, they are very useful and help us to improve everybodies stay at Langtree. Property Owner

The garden is big with decking, patio and huge lawn. Arnside centre is 10 minutes walk away and is a really nice spot. Good pubs especially the Albion, bakers, Fish and Chip shop what’s not too like. Handy base for visiting the lakes or walking etc. Oh and there’s two mini supermarkets nearby. We loved it.

Its a lovely home, very comfy, there was a few little bit that could of been done like batteries in remotes in the games room, and one of the bedrooms didn't work, coal and wood for the fire, the house us beautiful and has everything you need, it says not far from the prom it is quite far and very hilly which was not explained in the brief

The location was great, short walk to local shops and pubs for food etc. The house was stunning and didn't lack anything that was needed for our stay. All of the bedrooms were great, well furnished and comfortable. The house was large and perfect for 6 of us and a puppy. We loved the garden and it was safe so we didn't have to worry about our dog going out without being watched constantly. Ample parking at the property and easy to get to. Also lovely local walks in the area with the dog and easy to access other parts of the lakes from. Would definitely return to Langtree - the owners have created a lovely place to stay!

It was spotless, spacious and quirky. The views were great. The garden was amazing and the kids and the dog loved it. We had a few lunches outside. We walked loads, into the town and in the local area, it was such a lovely place, a lovely little park within 5 mins walk for the children, also two well priced shops. The accommodation was well equiped. We were left a bottle of wine and some Mint Kendall bars which we ended up hooked on. The dog was also left some treats. Would definitely recommend.

With sweeping coastline, towering fells and stunning landscape scenery, you won't want to miss this opportunity for a holiday.

Bring your family and friends to share a memorable trip together and from the moment you arrive you won't be disappointed.

To the front, just off from the entrance hall is the games room with dual aspect windows benefiting from fantastic views down towards the estuary and plenty to keep the kids entertained for an hour or two.

Climb a set of steps onto the upper ground floor and find the spacious lounge, again taking advantage of the views with floor to ceiling windows set on an angle.

Here you can gather around the woodburning stove set in the alcove of the room and enjoy a quiet read or a social chat with friends.

This then leads round to the dining area, forming an open-plan layout, where you can catch up on your day over a steaming hot meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen next door.

Patio doors open out onto the garden outside, which you can throw open on a warm summer's day and let a breeze through.

The kitchen has been fitted to a quality standard, with granite worktops, Velux windows, spotlights lining the floor and a beautiful outlook into the garden as you do the washing up after dinner.

There is also a handy utility with washer / dryer, and a shower room on this floor for your convenience.

Upstairs is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and another set of windows at an angle, so you can wake up, enjoy your morning cup of tea and start the day fresh with a superb outlook across rolling countryside in the distance.

There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and three other bedrooms comprising of a double, twin and a day bed on the first level.

Step out into the sunny garden to the rear of the property, which enjoys an elevated position and far-reaching views.

Sit on the patio with a drink or enjoy a picnic lunch on the lawn; a safe and enclosed family space.

Stroll down to the village to find a plethora of shops, galleries, cafes and pubs – something for all the family.

The village park and play area are just a 5-minute walk away.

From the front door, you can walk into the village and along the beach, explore Arnside Knott and venture into the surrounding fells, woodland and wildlife-filled countryside enveloping the area.

As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the views and landscapes are very special indeed.

The whole of the Lake District beckons with country walks, waterside picnics, historic attractions and so much more.

Closer to home is Holgates Leisure pool and gym, Wildlife Oasis, Holker Hall, Sizergh Castle (NT) and Levens Hall.
