Holly Lodge

Everything perfect except for the 2 settees in the living area.

They were far too low for older people and were very hard to get up from. We had to sit on an assortment of cushions and pillows to raise us up.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holly Lodge.

Comfortable spacious accommodation we hope to be back.

This was our 3rd stay in Holly Lodge and once again we found everything was lovely.

We have just enjoyed another comfortable stay at Holly Lodge.

It is warm and inviting with lovely views across to the fishing lakes. There were some magnificent sunsets and lots of wildlife to watch. We look forward to our next visit.

Holly cottage was lovely.

Very clean and well maintained. The kitchen equipment was well stocked and all appliances worked well. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. It’s a wonderful setting for peace, quiet and long walks on Becon Fell.

Holly Lodge is set in tranquil surroundings.

We enjoyed watching the wildlife including a heron, pheasants, and geese and ducks on the ponds. Although we visited at the end of November the lodge was beautifully warm and comfortable. We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely lodge, spacious and comfortable.

Good arrival instructions and relaxing stay. Area was scenic and fishing was good with plenty of lakes to choose from. Look forward to staying again.

A quiet, peaceful location yet within 15 minutes of the M6 motorway so easy to travel to many places of interest.

We had beautiful weather and enjoyed sitting out in the sun during the afternoon/early evening, then watching the sunset. The lodge was warm and comfortable, a 'home from home'.

So nice we booked to stay another week.

So relaxing and comfortable. Quiet and beautiful scenery. Always loey to come.e back to after being out and about. Hosts very helpful. We will be back most definitely

Loved both our stays at Holly Lodge.

It is very well equipped, clean, comfortable, peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. The hosts are welcoming and very helpful. We look forward to another stay at some point in the future.

We had a minor problem with the wifi which the owner was very helpful in sorting out.

The Lodge itself was a good size and the adjoining fishing lakes were both scenic and pleasant to walk round. Access to the lodge was good but we found the directions given to get there rather confusing. However, satnav did the job and we soon found the best ways in and out. A smaller bed would have allowed room for a chest of drawers which would have been useful. The lodge is well located for visiting all areas in Lancashire and the south Lakes. Beacon Fell is within walking distance.

Comfy warm relaxing welcomming - super comfy beds - a real home from home. Stayed in pet friendly lodge-and it was perfect for the dog - all fenced in totally safe for them to explore on their own. Will defo be back

Excellent accommodation, very clean, great facilities.

Only downside could do with a bigger tv in lounge but it didn't affect our stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at holly lodge.

The lodge is very comfortable and clean. The views are lovely and it isn't too far from the nearby villages. Most important the fishing is good and more importantly the dogs love it !! Many thanks

Holly Lodge was a lovely comfortable place to stay.

It was so peaceful and set in beautiful countryside. The fishing lakes were a bonus. All in all we had a fab week and can't wait to return.

We've stayed in all 3 Lodges now over the last 4 years and whether it be fishing or as a base with my wife for visiting the surrounding area it's always been a very enjoyable time.

The lodges are all very similarly furnished and comfortable. The fishing is is so good I even took up membership last year, very peaceful surroundings to catch fish. Would recommend to anyone.

A very well maintained property.

Cleanliness excellent. Good well fenced in garden, so that my little dog could not escape!
