At the top of the garden, which is reached via two sets of steep stone steps, is a fantastic patio area with furniture where the views reach out across the cottages to the surrounding countryside and breathtaking sunsets can be enjoyed. The village of Cartmel is just two miles away and can be reached via a footpath which leads from your doorstep across the fields. This is a beautiful location, ideal for having meals out as a visit to the Michelin starred L’Enclume restaurant is a must. There are a number of excellent walks in the area and many attractions to keep everyone entertained which makes this a perfect holiday location.
