Granary Cottage proved to be the perfect base. A meticulously planned and implemented conversion of old farm buildings, the cottage offers warmth, comfort and very spacious accommodation for up to four people (it would be ideal for two couples). It offers impressive and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge with proper seating for four, and two generous bedrooms with smart en-suites that would put many top hotels to shame. Spotlessly clean on arrival and nice to be left a welcome basket with local treats. The hosts were so friendly and, despite being busy on the farm, were always happy to chat and recommend local places to visit and places to eat. The cottage is ideally placed for visits to many of Northumberland's top attractions. An all round five-star experience. Thank you!

  • "What a fantastic privilege to be the first guests here at Granary Cottage!"

Margaret and Robert are extremely dedicated, hard-working hosts, always on hand for local recommendations yet respectful of our privacy. The cottage was immaculate in every way with many personal touches and in a great location to explore the many attractions Northumberland has to offer. Thank you so much for making this such a memorable (and much-needed, due to the pressures of the pandemic) holiday for us all........we absolutely loved it and will undoubtedly be back to hear how Coco the calf is doing. We would highly recommend this cottage.
