The cottage is beautiful , more spacious than I was expecting from the pictures.
Very clean and the kitchen well equipped. The only disappointments were the lack of starter pack for the fire as the listing said it would be one. Also the cleaning “pack” that had no washing up liquid was annoying, just an easy thing to provide, I ended up wiping the sides with baby wipes. A small improvement would be to put a lamp in the living room and kids room. We had to move the lamp as our son is afraid to be in darkness at night. But I love that the cottage has all mod cons and very high standard.
Whilst the cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped, we were disappointed with the lack of outside space (tarmacked parking area) and how dark the cottage was, particularly the lounge area with just the couch for seating and view of the tv.
Lovely walks nearby and always fabulous in the Lakes.

The cottage was immaculate, thoughtfully designed and with everything we needed for our stay. The location is just perfect. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but with just over 10 minute drive to Ambleside. Checking in was easy the key safe was simple to use and the handbook was full of useful information. We couldn’t recommend this cottage highly enough.
