    “Delightful cottage”

We were made to feel welcome to Garden Cottage by the very helpful owner. The cottage is delightful and the area is lovely, not busy and not 'touristy'. Bar/Restaurant in village is excellent and would highly recommend. The enclosed garden is great for dogs as you can open the door and be sure they are safe to wander around. Would love to go back as we did enjoy it

The property

Mickleton 0.5 miles. A pretty stone and slate-built Grade II listed cottage, situated on the owner's working farm on the edge of the village of Mickleton.

Formerly the gardener's cottage, the property has undergone a tasteful and imaginative conversion to provide very comfortable and well-equipped accommodation with character features such as sloping ceilings and timber beams.

The cottage is surrounded by spectacular Teesdale countryside and makes a great base for exploring this unspoilt part of the Dales.
