"The property was newly and well decorated albeit in a minimalist style but provided all the facilities required."
There were one or two lights which did not function consistently, and although the heating system was newly fitted and the water was fine, we had trouble getting balanced heating across the property -i.e the upstairs living accommodation tended to be too hot whilst the bedroom remained cool. We were somewhat surprised that unlike many places we have stayed there was no welcoming pack, specifically (given that the flat was very remote) there was not even one pint of milk, so had we not brought our own we would have been stuck for a 'cuppa' on arrival. However the biggest disappointment, and a particular reason for not rating higher, was the fact that despite the living area being on the upper floor there was only a view over the pub car park. Whilst the 'advert' made no specific mention of a view, the images given of the building suggested there would be one room on the front overlooking open countryside. Having met the people staying in number 6 and seen their views, our disappointment was compounded! I would not want any future tenants to expect Lakeland views from the living room!

"Extremely clean apartment with everything we needed for a 6 night stay."
Only issue we had was the smoke alarm going off when cooking breakfast, although, this could just be the filter in the cooker hood needing replacement. Loved the music in the shower, being next door to a beautiful pub where we had a delicious Sunday lunch and the peaceful location. It is well worth the walk up the hill to the Masons Arms to be welcomed by an open fire and accomodating friendly staff.
