  • "Superb location with fantastic access to local amenities, however, parking could have been an issue but due to being disabled and having a blue badge the locals advised us of where to park legally and we ended up right outside the property."

Whilst clean, the property could do with a deeper clean for perfection and a dishwasher would have been advantageous. That said, we would stay again.

Thank you for leaving feedback. We were very sorry to hear things were not perfect. I have let our professional cleaner know your feedback as this was unexpected and all our feedback to date about cleanliness has been very good. We wondered whether the problem was the communal entrance hall as a plasterer had been working on the ground floor. This is not our responsibility but we have given it a deep clean. Most of the year parking in Bowness is straight forward but weekends in August are sometimes a challenge due to the numbers of people visiting for the day. Glad to hear you found the disabled parking spot opposite, outside Peter Rabbit. I will update the parking information and give more options for parking and include information for disabled people. Great to hear you would choose to come again. Bowness is a special place. Property Owner

It has been an absolute treat to stay in the heart of it. Great apartment with everything you need. Can recommend Cafe No4 for a fabulous breakfast.

  • "Lovely flat."

The Country Hut opposite very nice for drinks. Very enjoyable stay. Do recommend a grab rail for easy access to bathroom. Think bathroom could do with updating as feel it lets the rest of the place. Thank you for your helpful comments. We have not changed the bathroom yet because of the unusual vintage tiling, mirrors and hand decoration. We also wanted to keep the lovely big bath as it is great for a deep soak after walking.
