The dishwasher was not working in the cottage, which wasn’t a massive issue and we did inform the proprietor for future reference. The Bathroom/Shower room is very small and not quite adequate for a family with 2 small children especially when trying to shower them which means that someone is stuck behind the door. There was a lot of dust behind the double bed in the main bedroom (we had to pull this out to find my ring which I dropped). I think this needs some attention in the forms of hoovering and dusting. Bedroom 2 is described on Sykes Cottages as having a single bed with a optional pull out bed. There is actually a set of bunk beds in this room so this was a little misleading. Apart from the above we had a lovely stay and would come again.
