Should charge a bit extra and fix this. Lovely couple and a brilliant garden centre.

  • "We found this to be a lovely place to stay."

It had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. The lounge was comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The only thing we needed to bring was the groceries, and our favorite cooking spices. The bedroom was cozy and warm. The king bed was a plus for me (6'7"). We are looking forward to coming back again, and have already booked for the late summer!

  • "We felt that there was a lack of privacy, from the other properties on the site, so we felt we could not use the outside and were overlooked by people as they went to their cars."

The place would also benefit from the addition of WiFi. The hosts were lovely, and supplied milk and tea after we had a terrible journey taking 9 hours rather that 5 hours we had expected.

  • "This holiday cottage was what you see is what you get."

.the photos and descriptions are very accurate. the cottage is immaculately clean and well stocked with everything you need. we would not return only for 2 reasons. 1 was no WiFi and the other us that the shared patio really is very shared and as peoplelike to eat outside if the weather permits, you are practically eating at the table next to your neighbours. if you don’t mind being so close to the holiday house next to you then this is a lovely holiday house, and especially if you have or like dogs.

Beautiful and stylish, each room is spacious, light and airy and a very comfortable bed is dressed with good quality linen. Such a lovely place, tranquil but near facilities and villages if you want. Highly recommended, thank you

  • "We stayed at the cottage for 6 nights and found the location was ideal as not far from most towns."

Cottage was lovely and warm with all the comforts you have at home but could of done without the dish washer and would of preferred a tumbler drier. It has a lovely large walk in shower and the large king size bed was very comfortable. The 2 seater sofa is also comfortable but low down hubby had to help me up a few times out of it. Overall a pleasant stay..

The apartment was lovely. We spent Christmas here and it seemed very homely. It was cosy and warm and had all the facilities we needed. I could not fault it. The location is quiet and rural, lovely sunrises over the fields. The garden centre, across the lane, did a great breakfast and lunch for those who couldnt be bothered to cook!! We enjoyed our stay so much that we will definately go to The Stables again. Jx

We were made to feel very welcome and that included the dog, she enjoys the freedom of staying here. The roadworks on a roundabout close by necessitated a short detour for some destinations but nothing too drastic and could not be heard from the cottage even as they worked through the night. The downside for us was the weather, it rained most days but no one can control that, as yet and we did have somewhere warm to come back to.

.. Unfortunately we had to come home on the 3rd couldn't cope with accommodation any longer... The place was spotless and well equipped but not for the elderly or disabled like the property information led us to believe … Bedroom beautiful furnished with a King size bed … Bathroom lovely big walk in shower but no grab rail or Bath mat to step out onto and it was a wooden floor so very slippy … The lounge had a sofa and two chairs which were fine if you were young but we could not get up out of them they were so low and the sofa so soft … My husband had cancer surgery and follow up treatment so we thought this would be ideal for him … we resorted to sitting on hard kitchen type chairs to watch the tele not comfortable at all... Then to top it all we arrived Friday the 30th August and on Saturday morning 31st August the road had closed for 7 weeks … no diversion signs we had to keep going well out of our way to get anywhere we were not informed about this … I am not knocking The Old Stables it was spotless and well equipped like I previously said but needs some attention to make it more ideal for the elderly and disabled we paid out £436 pound for 3 days not happy we feel we were mis informed

The lighting , interior design was pleasing and added to the holiday. The parking was very good and if the weather had been warmer it would have been good to sit outside on the patio. We had our dog with us and there was on open space for her to go outside ( not secure )also good walk down the lane. Even though the accommodation is in the country bus stop just down lane on main road to Blackpool or Fleetwood . Supermarket and local shops and take aways within 3--5 minutes away in car in all directions . Cleveleys sea front just 5mins away in car .
