  • "We had a wonderful few days in the flat in Cartmel."

    The accommodation is stylish, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We very much appreciated the wine, chocolates and milk, which were left for us. The flat is situated in the centre of Cartmel and close to the public car park. Cartmel is a beautiful village with fabulous pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. The walks around the village are breathtaking. Also, of course, is a stunning 12th century priory, a racecourse and the Cartmel sticky toffee pudding shop.Windermere, Ambleside, Coniston and Kendal are all in easy driving distance. We will definitely return.

  • "Beautiful flat, probably the best equipped holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in."

    The owners really have thought of everything and the fizz and chocolates were a lovely touch. Our first time in Cartmel and hopefully not our last. We wanted a relaxing week, so didn’t venture too far from the village, but didn’t need to, despite a few closures of hospitality venues due to refits/decorating etc. Can recommend The Cavendish Arms and The Royal Oak. Great atmosphere, food, beer and wine at both. Oscars is also very good for wine. The cheese shop is excellent and staff are very friendly and knowledgable. The Premier convenience store is very well stocked, reasonably priced and again very friendly. Good walks to Holker Hall and Cark.

    This was our second visit to Cartmel this year, and your property was our favourite. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and ideally located for village amenities, the many dining options and the village car park. The fresh flowers, Prosecco and chocolates awaiting our arrival were unexpected pleasures. We would have no hesitation in staying again.

    The accommodation is perfect for us with everything carefully thought out.Flowers and goodies on arrival ,a lovely touch.Such a well equipped flat,with everything you require on hand.Clean,spacious and delightfully presented. The flat is centrally placed right in the centre of Cartmel, with access to many culinary delights.Such as restaurants, pubs,cafe's, shops.Many great walks from your doorstep.   • "Had a fab time ."

    First class accommodation ,super clean everything you could possibly need. The special touches eg fresh flowers, wine were superb. Only downside in cartmel is parking you need a permit to park otherwise can be awkward loading and unloading your car. Thanks

Sorry you had a problem with parking unfortunately this is out of our control as this applies to all small villages in the Lake District with narrow streets.   • "Cartmel flat is fabulous, we had a lovely long weekend ."

    Just my husband and I stayed in the flat which was a perfect break. It was very inviting and made special with the welcome tray and lovely fresh flowers in the lounge and kitchen. The flat is contemporary and beautifully styled. Every room was in excellent condition- kitchen, lounge, shower room and bedroom. The bed was super comfy with quality pillows and duvet and sleep / pillow spray ( amazing) The settee most comfy. Charming Cartmel views from every window. Carol & Rob had thought of everything from a brolly, picnic blanket, hay fever tablets, a sewing kit and so much more - tremendously stocked house:) We would love to return for another special weekend in such beautiful surroundings in the flat and in the village. Thank you so much. Ps. I feel I may not have found a rubber non slip shower mat I require as I have a mobility issues. I had no problems with the stairs which were easy to manage with a good banister rail and larger stair steps; don’t be put off if you have slight difficulties with stairs as there are just a handful and the bannister supports you.

  • "Pristine flat."

    Very well laid out with all kitchen equipment easily accessible. Comfortable lounge and bedroom with attractive furniture. Liked being right in the middle of lovely Cartmel with its eateries and attractive shops. Near to Grange where my daughter and family live.

  • "What a beautiful appointed flat/apartment."

    Right in the centre of the gorgeous culinary Cartmel village.Everything was perfect, the bed was so comfortable and the kitchen so well equipped and the lounge provided a peaceful setting to relax on a evening.Sat on the window seat watching people pass by below. Lovely walks around the area and restaurants and hostelries throughout Cartmel. A big thankyou to the owners for the beautiful welcome pack and making our stay so special. We will definitely be back!

Resting paces away from a hub of shops, pubs, and Michelin Star restaurants, whilst a short distance to the Lake District National Park, Cartmel Flat offers a wonderful bolthole for two guests, ideal for a romantic getaway.

Park up in a nearby public car park, before travelling on foot for a short distance to the apartment.

Hang up your coats and store your walking boots before ascending to the first floor.

Be greeted by the dedicated dining space, leading into the well-equipped, sleek kitchen, complete with all expected appliances to ease your stay.
