    “First rate”

After a very disappointing farm stay in Devon recently, the Old Cookhouse fully restored our faith in the genre Everything was efficiently dealt with from the start, arrival was easy and the quality of the accommodation was very high, as were the facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were always on hand with a friendly greeting. Lovely to see the flock of sheep grazing outside the lounge window ! Finally, it's a great base to visit the whole of the Lakes, the Cumbria coast, Carlisle and even S Scotland.
