  • "Accomodation was clean and well presented."

    I would say it was significantly higher class than most other caravans we have stayed in. Keys were on table when we arrived as stated. Cant comment on owner as we never saw them, but we didnt need to so not a problem. Very quiet and well presented plot shared with 3 other caravans, but privacy is not compromised in any way. Quite a rural setting, but close enough to amenities, 5 minut drive from coast, and 10 mins or so to Leighton Moss RSPB. All in all very satisfactory experince which we only came across after being let down by Cottages.com. Highly recomended accomodation at a fair price. Didnt really find any gripes, but we dont really go looking for them like some people!

  • "We wanted to be close to Leighton Moss RSPB and this was ideal."

    We were a little concerned about the closeness of the train but it did not affect our stay one little bit. It was the cosiest mobile accommodation we have ever had.

Lodge 2 is a single-storey lodge situated on a farm on the rural outskirts of Silverdale in Lancashire.

Just a short stroll from the beach and a stone’s throw from the stunning Lake District National Park, this lodge is the ideal base for family and friends.

Whether you're a beach lover or an avid walker, you'll find adventure and relaxation right at your doorstep.

Inside, you will find an open-plan living space, where the designated chef can get to work in the kitchen, while you can catch up on the day's adventures around the dining table as you toast to an unforgettable one.

Here, you can look forward to unwinding in the sitting area, before heading to bed.

When sleep calls, move through the property to discover a double and twin room await your night's sleep, ideal for catching your rest after a big day of exploration.

Each morning, refresh yourself with an invigorating rinse in the shower room before stepping outside to the garden.

Savour the morning sunshine with a cup of coffee in hand, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.

The pretty and quiet coastal village of Silverdale is situated on the shores of Morecambe Bay. Both Silverdale and nearby Arnside have a good selection of shops, cafes and pubs. The local surrounding area is a “nature lover’s paradise” with stunning limestone pavements and wonderful woodland walks through countryside alive with rare plants, trees and wildlife - the internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is just 1 mile away from the village. Further afield, but within easy touring distance, are the Lake District and Lune Valley, The Yorkshire Dales and The Forest of Bowland.
