"Our second visit and definitely not our last."
Stunning location, peaceful and cosy. Despite the biblical rainfall, we had a fantastic time and the hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Side House is a real gem in the most beautiful part of the Lake District.

"This is a really wonderful location and cosy cottage with the best view I’ve ever had from a cottage."
It’s located in walking distance of 3 great pubs and has a brilliant bus service so linear walks are easy. The only negatives were the bathroom/shower is very small so might annoy some people and the window in the master bedroom wasn’t quite airtight so was noisy when storm came through one night.

"A lovely cottage in a superb location."
The view were amazing and the location meant we could walk from the door every day. The cottage itself was very homely and cosy, and very well maintained, providing a very comfortable base for our stay. Thank you very much.

"Very clean and comfortable with everything you need in kitchen plenty of utensils!"
Comfy beds. The position is idyllic the views absolutely stunning magical Lake District. We sat outside in the evening and looked out at the fells. We enjoyed watching the resident Swallows flying in and out of the barn. Also enjoyed the Herdwick sheep and their lambs on the farm. I would definitely stay again!

"The cottage was really great, all that we hoped for."
Location was fabulous.
It was very clean and comfortable. The owners did warn about occasionally flaky wi fi but it was OK for us. We would definitely go back.

"Lovely little cottage, spectacular scenery surrounding the cottage."
A great base from which to explore the lake district. Two pubs across the road was also an unexpected bonus.

"What an epic stay."
You cannot get better scenery than this. Whether it's raining or the sun is blazing, this part of LD has it all. Two Side House offered all we needed after a days.walking or cycling - and a beer, on the chairs put from as the sun set over the valley cannot be beaten.
What wonderful feedback, we are so happy to read that you found Two Side House to be all you expected. It is in a wonderful part of the Lake District. Lakelovers

"The bedrooms needed some shelves/chest of drawers to put clothes away."
We had to put our clothes on the floor. The new trim around the new flooring in the kitchen & toilet was coming away in several places. The stairs leading to the bedrooms was extremely cold as there was a fresh air vent at the top of the stairs. The temp gauge on the boiler thermostat on the window seal showed only 12 degrees. Brrrr. Apart from those minor issues, such a lovely cottage and nicely decorated.

"We loved our stay in Two Side House Farm, it was perfect for our needs."
Beautiful views, walks from the door, peace and quiet (we could hear the owls at night) and a walk to the pub. The accommodation was clean and nicely presented. We would love to stay there again.

"We were delighted with the cottage- cosy, compact, modern yet with character, and easy to use."
The introductory welcome folder was one of the most friendly and appealing ones we have ever come across. We felt that any issues would be addressed, should any arise. Thank you to the owners. We did leave one or two suggestions, as requested, and are pretty confident they will have been considered. The shower is not a Walk in, but, rather, a step up into cubicle, which might be important to some.

"We absolutely loved this cottage."
It had without doubt the best location in the Lakes. We could see Bowfell and Crinkle Crags from the living room window, and as we stepped outside the front door, Harrison Stickle was in view. The cottage was cosy and beautifully styled inside. We felt immediately at home. Great walks were on the doorstep, and pubs and restaurants were also a short walk away. It was so quiet, we slept soundly every night.
