  • “You wouldn’t be able to find a better cottage anywhere else we don’t think!”

The view from the back door was just incredible! Local pubs selling great food, already booked it again for next year!

Gather around the table with a lovingly-prepared meal prepared in the classic-styled kitchen, echoing neutral tones, this bright and airy room is sure to be a true delight for the chef of the group, with all the essential appliances you could need at hand.

Open up the back door and let the fresh country air fill the room, while your little ones and canine companions make the most of your enclosed lawned area.

Up on the first floor sit the two sleeping spots, made up of a master super-king-size which can also conveniently double up as a twin room on request, as well as an equally as impressive king-size room, each member of the group can ensure they have a snug and stylish spot to rest, with both rooms benefiting from beautiful en-suite bathrooms, offering both a bath and a walk-in shower, you can choose how best to prepare for your day while being surrounded by pure bliss of a setting.

The local area of the cottage is an adventurers dream, with equal opportunities for relaxing too; sitting in easy reach of Coniston Water, here you can find wonderful walks along the beauty of the waters, or get up close to its beauty by hiring a rowing boat, or board the National Trust wonder of the Steam Yacht Gondola for an experience like no other.

Sitting on the Western shores of the lake you can find the mountain of the Old Man of Coniston, home to a plethora of industrial archaeology, it's well-worth a ramble for its rewarding scenery.

Once you've explored the local village with its good selection of shops and pubs offering delicious dining experiences, and not forgetting the wonder Ruskin Museum where you can learn about the history of the area and famed Donald Campbell and John Ruskin, venture out to Hawkshead to discover the National Trust owned Beatrix Potter Gallery, showcasing displays of Potter's much loved characters, this dwelling was once the office of her husband, now offering visitors a family-friendly attraction and easy access to Beatrix's own home, Hill Top.
