  • "Nice modern flat, well equipped and comfortable."

Good location in Windermere and having the allocated spot in the car park was great.

Thank you for your lovely comments; we hope to welcome you back to Claife Heights again. Property Owner

  • "The location was good , near pubs , restaurants and shops nice walk into Bowness or catch the local buses ."

The apartment was nice and had everything you needed , very comfy beds and plenty of hot water but needed some TLC outside

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to read that the apartment and its location met your needs. I will pass on your comments regarding the outside to the management company as they are responsible for its upkeep. We hope to welcome you to Claife Heights again. Property Owner

  • "Clean modern flat, with everything you need."

Good location, very accessible to train/bus station. Bonus having a parking spot. Good views. Unfortunately both bedrooms face the main road, which is not publicised in the listings. Without double glazing, it is very noisy with traffic from early morning through till late at night. Definitely not for light sleepers. Nor does it have blackout blinds, which are needed for the street lights that shine through the unlined curtains. The bath drains need to be unblocked to allow the shower water to drain away quickly.

Thank you for your feedback; we are pleased that you found the flat clean and well located. Both bedrooms have blinds as well as curtains to block out the light, we are sorry that you did not notice these. We appreciate that everyone is different but we have not found road noise to be an issue at night when we have stayed at the flat ourselves. Property Owner

  • "Small but perfectly adequate apartment, There was Damp smell in shared hallway Settee was a bit small."

Thank you for your feedback. We've never found the apartment or the sofa to be small when we've stayed at Claife Heights ourselves; the sofa is a small three seater and there are an additional two chairs in the living area. The apartment block does not suffer with damp. Property Owner

  • "The accommodation is really great."

Nicely located near the train and busstation and the town centre. At arrival it was difficult to find. We had to phone to LakeLovers. The problem appeared to be that we came by train and didnot look into the instruction for cardrivers. The address only is not enough.

Thank you for your feedback; we were so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and chose to extend your holiday at Claife Heights. We are sorry that you found the apartment difficult to find on foot and will certainly review the travel directions. Property Owner

  • "Well located for Windermere and the lakes, the stairs way be a problem for those with limited mobility, but we didn’t have a problem ourselves."

Property is well equipped and comfortable, clean and with everything working. Special mention to Sykes who arranged our stay at 24 hours notice when our original booking was cancelled at the last minute.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. We are delighted to read that you found that the apartment met your needs. Claife Heights is on the second floor and accessed by stairs as mentioned in the listing but the stairs are wide and modern and won't pose a problem for most people. Property Owner

  • "We were very pleased with the position of Claire Heights."

It was a lovely apartment and facilities were excellent. We would just like to point out one thing. Although there is a note in the main front door asking people to make sure the door is closed completely, but the last two days we were there this did not happen. The door needs to slammed to for this to happen so perhaps a better note might help.

Thank you for your lovely feedback and for bringing the issue with the main door to the block to our attention. We hope to welcome you back to Claife Heights. Property Owner

It was lovely and cosy and warm after a cold February walk. Great TV and wi-fi provided, ideal to catch up on those series. Walking distance to all amenities and train and bus station. So ideally located we didn't need to use our car for the duration of our stay. We had a great week and will look forward to returning. Thank you

  • "Great apartment for a friends' get together."

Very well-equipped kitchen for four people. It was lovely and warm which was very welcome after some bracing walks. We loved the fact that we could walk to the local pubs and restaurants having a great choice just 5 minutes from the apartment. Great for a walking or sightseeing base and you can use the bus to get further afield. Thank you so much, Beverley girls
