"Wonderful holiday apartment, we enjoyed our stay here and it was a great location for Windermere and beyond."
Our only quarrel was the outside light which was so very bright all night into the main bedroom. Perhaps this light could be put on a timer or a sensor? It forced us to sleep in the twin room for 2 nights but then unfortunately we heard the boiler start at 7am.
Another frying pan would also have been nice for our breakfast. Minor things, easily sorted. I would come back no problem, wish we could have stayed longer!

The exterior lights are for security purposes and are controlled by the Management Company, and are out of the owners control. Further to your comments regarding the boiler, as you have stated, it can be heard in the smaller bedroom. The owners try to ensure that it is balanced when it comes in and warms the apartment.
The owners will be looking into providing another frying pan.

"Superb cleanliness and well furnished."
Location was good but it probably wasn't as close to the centre of Bowness as we thought as we had an elderly relative with us and she found the walk along the back road dificult so we were never going to make the full walk into Bowness. Outdoor area for the apartment wasn't suitable to sit in and wasn't like the photo but grounds were lovely.

"We had a wonderful week at Skyfall."
The apartment is very well appointed and set in a beautiful location a short walk from Bowness. We visited in early March before the main tourist season and had some fabulous weather for exploring the Lakes. We plan to return!

I genuinely have post holiday blues after leaving! It was so clean, and comfortable and living in a city it was glorious walking to the centre of bowness it was so scenic and the views and amazing! I would highly reccomend and will definately be returning!

"The property was impressive on entry but further inspection revealed slight stains on the fabric of the settees and dining chairs."
The carpet in the main bedroom was starting to fray along the door strip into the en-suite. None of this affected the comfort or enjoyment of our holiday but we felt it should be brought to the attention of the owners to prevent higher costs to them if left
un-resolved. This is our fourth holiday at Meadowcroft and this is certainly one of, if not the, nicest apartment we have had. Please pass on our thanks to the owners for an enjoyable holiday (despite the miserable weather).

"Set in some lovely grounds, bonus of two parking bays, could not fault place at all."
But please be aware unless you intend to drive to other areas of the lake district and have children it's around a twenty minute walk to Boweness along areas of an unpaved main road.

"A lovely apartment that had everything we need!"
Comfy beds and lovely facilities. It was nice to see a dog cottage that wasn’t full of dog hair! As my husband and son are allergic to dogs ( we have a none shedding Shih Tzu) they didn’t sneeze or wheeze during their stay at Skyfall .

"Skyfall is a beautiful holiday home, stylishly furnished."
The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use. We had a few things that could be improved, there was no fan and the flat has no ventilation, it was 29 degrees when we were there and the heat in the apartment was unbearable.
I would have expected body wash and shampoo to be provided as you would expect at any stay. Extra towels were not provided even though we were there for 7 days so we had to wash our towels. There was no extra toilet paper provided so we ended up buying some more. It said dog treats were provided but the jar was empty when we got there.
Over all, beautiful apartment, things I wouldn’t even think of were provided such as dvds and cd’s however lacked the basics.

Few tips for price per night- more toilet rolls should be provided rather than 1 per toilet for the entire stay. No kitchen roll was provided. Had to buy both from local shop. Hoover was full (hadn’t been emptied). Would expect earlier check in time too, maybe 2/3pm at the latest.

"Skyfall is lovely."
Great location. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable. We were so lucky with the weather we were able to sit in the communal gardens and enjoy a glass of wine on an evening. We also enjoyed a game of tennis too. Only recommendations for the accommodation would be towelling robes and maybe a heavier doorstopper as the living room door would not stay open with the current stopper. We would definitely recommend a stay at Skyfall

The apartment has hairdryers and an airer (not listed) which would be useful to know. We didn’t move the car for days which was great, it’s 25mins to the centre of Bowness but it’s a nice walk along the lake. This is one of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in.
