What a lovely apartment.

Great location lovely and quiet but close enough to walk to Bowness. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. Welcome pack of snacks and Prosecco a lovely touch. Beds were extremely comfortable. Only slight concern was the strip for the carpet edges. A few raised screws. Otherwise perfect.

The property is stunning & we had a lovely stay in Skyfall.

We had everything we needed for our short stay. There was only 1 minor issue, the trim on the drawer in the en-suite bathroom is all corroded & I cut my finger on it.

The apartment was beautiful- clean and well equipped. The super king size bed was very comfortable, even for my husband with a bad back! Thanks for the treats and prosecco when we arrived. Those little touches made our holiday feel extra special. We'd definitely go back.

We had a lovely week at skyfall, absolutely gorgeous apartment very clean and stylish interior.

The welcome pack was a lovely surprise especially the bottle of prosecco. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Next year we will have 2 dogs so we would not be able to stay again, if it was not for the one dog policy we would definitely book for next year.

Skyfall was not as clean as other 4 star properties that we have stayed in.

The towels smelt of Foist and were not white or grey? The apartment was dusty the lounge windowsill had dead flies on it with a cobweb and a spider. The oven contained a greasy tray. The en-suite shower had not been cleaned properly and the family bathroom toilet had poo stains in it. We took pictures as proof. The metal carpet strip had pertruding screws that ruined several pairs of our socks and hurt our feet. The out door steps leading up to the apartment hadn't been swept and were covered in pine needles. These then kept trailing inside. The hoover needed emptying. The underneath of the bowl in the sink was black (disgusting). So once we had been and bought cleaning products and cleaned the property. We had an enjoyable stay in the Lake District. The grounds were well kept unfortunately the inside of the apartment didn't live up to the cleanliness of the 4 star standard we would expect. No welcome pack ( milk , bread biscuits etc) the Prosecco was a nice touch! Felt we paid a lot of money for the standard we received and will not be returning.

The location was brilliant and the apartment was very clean and comfortable to stay in. We hope to return in the future!

We loved our week here and were so lucky with the weather! The flat is a perfect bit of luxury after a long day hiking! We will definitely be back!

Just spent two fabulous weeks in the Lake District with fantastic weather, great fun, been everywhere and Skyfall added to that fun and helped to make it happen.

Different movie but... we'll be back.

Trying to charge for a change of bedding for the second week when we had paid the full rate for the second week not a discounted rate.

Builders being around most of the two weeks we were there - noise and not being able to access facilities supposedly available to us. Compensation agreed but not received.

Everything with our apartment was good except for the way SYKES mismanaged our communication regarding the maintenance issue reported.

The owners were really nice about everything and I would say if I were the owners I would be considering changing SYKES as my agents.

Loved this apartment - it was the perfect size for the four of us, everything you needed and very comfortable.

The grounds were gorgeous and we made the most of the tennis courts. Fantastic location - just a 15/20 minute walk into Bowness to enjoy all the amenities there but far enough away to enjoy the peace and really feel you’re in the Lake District. Perfect

Beautiful property in a stunning and ideal location.

I would definitely return and after having shown family/friends the property, they have also said they would use this property if they were to stay in Windermere

Wonderful holiday apartment, we enjoyed our stay here and it was a great location for Windermere and beyond.

Our only quarrel was the outside light which was so very bright all night into the main bedroom. Perhaps this light could be put on a timer or a sensor? It forced us to sleep in the twin room for 2 nights but then unfortunately we heard the boiler start at 7am. Another frying pan would also have been nice for our breakfast. Minor things, easily sorted. I would come back no problem, wish we could have stayed longer!

From the moment we arrived we felt right at home , the apartment is amazing, clean , spacious with everything you could imagine you need for a weekend away.

Olive sprocker loved her gift basket of treats and we really appreciated the bottle of prosecco on arrival. This was a birthday treat for my partner and we can't wait to return in the near future

Superb cleanliness and well furnished.

Location was good but it probably wasn't as close to the centre of Bowness as we thought as we had an elderly relative with us and she found the walk along the back road dificult so we were never going to make the full walk into Bowness. Outdoor area for the apartment wasn't suitable to sit in and wasn't like the photo but grounds were lovely.

Wonderful stay!

The property was spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and easy to use. The location was peaceful and enjoyable for the dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful week at Skyfall.

The apartment is very well appointed and set in a beautiful location a short walk from Bowness. We visited in early March before the main tourist season and had some fabulous weather for exploring the Lakes. We plan to return!

Skyfall has been by far the best holiday of my life!

I genuinely have post holiday blues after leaving! It was so clean, and comfortable and living in a city it was glorious walking to the centre of bowness it was so scenic and the views and amazing! I would highly reccomend and will definately be returning!

Lovely apartment very comfortable everything we needed was thought of would highly recommend

The property was impressive on entry but further inspection revealed slight stains on the fabric of the settees and dining chairs.

The carpet in the main bedroom was starting to fray along the door strip into the en-suite. None of this affected the comfort or enjoyment of our holiday but we felt it should be brought to the attention of the owners to prevent higher costs to them if left un-resolved. This is our fourth holiday at Meadowcroft and this is certainly one of, if not the, nicest apartment we have had. Please pass on our thanks to the owners for an enjoyable holiday (despite the miserable weather).

Set in some lovely grounds, bonus of two parking bays, could not fault place at all.

But please be aware unless you intend to drive to other areas of the lake district and have children it's around a twenty minute walk to Boweness along areas of an unpaved main road.

Wonderful Accomodation, particularly high class and great they allow dogs.

Very comfortable in many ways. Bed and bed linen beautiful. Already booked for two weeks in 2024.

A lovely apartment that had everything we need!

Comfy beds and lovely facilities. It was nice to see a dog cottage that wasn’t full of dog hair! As my husband and son are allergic to dogs ( we have a none shedding Shih Tzu) they didn’t sneeze or wheeze during their stay at Skyfall .

Skyfall is a beautiful holiday home, stylishly furnished.

The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use. We had a few things that could be improved, there was no fan and the flat has no ventilation, it was 29 degrees when we were there and the heat in the apartment was unbearable. I would have expected body wash and shampoo to be provided as you would expect at any stay. Extra towels were not provided even though we were there for 7 days so we had to wash our towels. There was no extra toilet paper provided so we ended up buying some more. It said dog treats were provided but the jar was empty when we got there. Over all, beautiful apartment, things I wouldn’t even think of were provided such as dvds and cd’s however lacked the basics.

Lovely apartment, would definitely stay again.

Few tips for price per night- more toilet rolls should be provided rather than 1 per toilet for the entire stay. No kitchen roll was provided. Had to buy both from local shop. Hoover was full (hadn’t been emptied). Would expect earlier check in time too, maybe 2/3pm at the latest.

Our stay at skyfall was perfect from start to finish .

The property had everything you need and more . Perfect place to celebrate our silver wedding . Would highly recommend.

Skyfall is lovely.

Great location. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable. We were so lucky with the weather we were able to sit in the communal gardens and enjoy a glass of wine on an evening. We also enjoyed a game of tennis too. Only recommendations for the accommodation would be towelling robes and maybe a heavier doorstopper as the living room door would not stay open with the current stopper. We would definitely recommend a stay at Skyfall

Issue with hot water was resolved quickly!

We found the accommodation well equipped and extremely comfortable, especially the beds! Only negative was the apartment was v warm and we had to turn down the temperature and radiators!

The apartment was exactly as the pictures showed, we were expecting it to look a little tired but it didn’t.

The apartment has hairdryers and an airer (not listed) which would be useful to know. We didn’t move the car for days which was great, it’s 25mins to the centre of Bowness but it’s a nice walk along the lake. This is one of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in.

Superb accommodation

We have previously stayed at another property at Meadowcroft, so we knew what to expect.

Skyfall is a wonderful apartment and very well appointed. We all had a wonderful, quiet week there and did lots of walks in the Central fells.

Excellent accommodation in a spotless condition.

Would definitely recommend and we will stay again in the future.

A fantastic week and a great base for our first holiday in the Lakes.

Very fortunate to have had great "un Lake like" weather. Thank you for the fan being on upon our arrival to make it just about bearable. Really appreciated being able to charge our car during the week as we've travelled a lot this week. Love the Ullswater Steamers, water sports on Coniston and boating up and down Windermere. Lexi has loved Skyfall too and we'd recommend it to others. Langdale Chase just up the road has amazing views and is great for a brunch/afternoon tea/drink on the terrace.

It had everything you could ever need in it! The beds and sofas were so comfy and you had a choice of soft or hard pillows, which was a very nice little touch. I can't say anything bad about it, as it was so wonderful! For the people that came here in the future I recommend Quayside, it was our go to restaurant/pub. We went there 3 times! I hope everyone has a lovely stay. The dog basket was also loved by our dog Alfie.
