The property

Foxrock is in an elevated position between Bowness and Windermere.

Upstairs there is a further double bedroom with lovely views onto the local fells.

Head down to the basement for a convenient utility room, cosy games room and additional shower room. Al fresco dining can be enjoyed on two patios to the tranquil sounds of a pretty stream running by.

Parents are advised to remain vigilant of children near the stream.

Parking is also provided. Located between the popular villages of Bowness and Windermere, there are plenty of cafes, shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep.

A ten minute stroll will take you to the shores of Lake Windermere where you can catch a traditional Lakeland 'Steamer' to Ambleside to explore all that this beautiful area has to offer.

A fifteen minute drive from the property will take you to Rydal Water and the famous Rydal caves or continue to the picturesque village of Grasmere, once home to the famous poet William Wordsworth. A bright and modern house perfectly located for discovering the villages of Bowness, Windermere and beyond.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.
