A lovely week at a welcoming , spacious, pristine home from home with thoughtful touches and brilliant views in a gem of a village with history and atmosphere all around.

Great walks and friendly locals and very comfortable beds to end the day! Hoping to return soon!

The sun room is a great touch, it provides a wonderful view across Morcambe bay, the flat is well appointed the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, it's peaceful and quiet and there are great walks too.

There are shops, take aways, a pub and a couple of micropubs within 5 minutes walk, plenty of on road parking and the hosts are lovely.

The apartment was so comfortable, clean and fresh.

There was a welcome board for us and a doggy bag for my fur babes. Absolutely loved it here, convenient for the shops and wonderful walks and sights. If we didn’t live so far away, we would be back often.

This was my 3rd year staying at Brynmar.

Stunning place and Heysham is a lovely village with lots a great walks. Would recommend Tracey’s cakes and pies who do a great breakfast. Can’t wait until my next visit to Brynmar and Heysham.

The location was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and reading in the sunroom, which faced the water.

Brynmar is lovely.

The hosts have through of everything. We stayed while visitng family in the area and will definitely book again.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely Christmas tree with lights, the accommodation was modern, bright and all on one level which suited our needs.

It was well equipped and had a lovely sun room, with blankets, books and games provided and the added bonus of a view overlooking the sea. Would definitely recommend this holiday apartment.

Stayed for 5 nights at the end of November.

Accommodation was lovely, very much a home-from-home vibe. All facilities were excellent and great location to the beach, local shops, pub and a short trip to Morecambe. Only downside was there were no coat hooks / rack - being winter we had many a wet coat and muddy boots with nowhere to put them! But that is just a minor detail and wouldn't have noticed if it were summer (but then it does rain then too!!) Would definitely recommend.

Our first stay at Brynmar, but hopefully not our last!

My husband and I had a lovely break here, and we especially appreciated the cosiness, cleanliness, space, excellent shower, modern facilities and the comfy beds, plus the peaceful location and the easy parking. My husband has limited mobility, so the fact the apartment is all on the ground floor is a real plus. However, access to the lovely sun room is narrow and involves a step down, so it won’t suit everybody. Brynmar is very handy for Morecambe, and the Lake District is easily reached. Bonus benefit: five minutes’ walk away is Radford’s: purveyors of some of the finest pies we have ever eaten!

Great location. Pubs close by and bus stops close by and Tesco and co op express close by.

From first entering the property it felt clean and spacious.

The open plan lounge kitchen worked well; nice clean modern kitchen . The area that was of the lounge the sunroom ,was lovely to sit in with a view over the bay , I might add the headroom was quite tight although it was fine for me a taller person might struggle . The main bedroom was spacious with a small wardrobe and set of draws . There was only a small mirror in this room so a full length mirror might be useful. The bathroom was clean and tidy again and the shower was good . Overall very clean spacious flat very reasonably priced .

This was our second time at Brynmar.

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was clean and tidy and has all the modern appliances you need. The location is ideal with the village and beach very close by, and Morecambe Bay less than 10 minutes by car. If you don’t want to cook there are some great places to eat close by. We loved our short stay and so did the dogs. We would definitely return and recommend Brynmar.

Fantastic owners who give excellent customer service. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very tastefully decorated and wonderful views across Morecambe bay. It is situated in a lovely quiet residential area with friendly neighbours. Ideally situated for Heysham Village and walks. Very friendly pubs and restaurants close by. Highly recommended. Will definitely be booking again

Very happy with our stay here overall, especially as it was so convenient for our visit to a neighbouring relative.

"Brynmar" was clean, comfortable, attractive and welcoming and in a great location for visitors to the area. Very happy to recommend this cottage, especially to dog-owners, whom will really enjoy the local walks with their dogs.

What a little gem this apartment was perfect for me my daughter and her dog very clean and smelled divine the sun room was a lovely room to chill in the morning with a brew watching the world go by we may be back in the future thank you xx

Stunning, spotless apartment with beautiful view of the sea from the summer room.

Apartment is in an excellent location with just a short walk to the beach and village. Absolutely love Brynmar and this was our second visit. There will definitely be a third and more.

Lovely comfortable relaxing apartment.

Very well kept accommodation.

Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. Well appointed kitchen with all mod cons. Comfortable bedrooms and really good shower room. With a really relaxing room adjoining the house affording a wonderful views of Morecome bay. Will definitely be returning.

Just returned from a long weekend at Brynmar with our four legged friend.

We had a fantastic time - the location and property were both perfect. The area was quiet but very close to the beach, a short walk to the shops and pub and a 20 minute scenic coastal walk to Half Moon Bay past St Patrick's Chapel. What's not to love! We hope to return to this property very soon.

Brynmar is a lovely dog friendly apartment with everything you could need whilst away.

The property is well located with great views of Morecambe Bay. There is off road parking for one vehicle and plenty of space without any restrictions on the road. The property itself, you cannot fault. It is bright, modern, clean, and very comfortable. There is lots to do close to Brynmar - plenty of walks, Heysham village, dog friendly pubs, there is a small supermarket , cash point, butchers and takeaways if you don’t fancy cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break, so did our spaniels! We would definitely recommend Brynmar and we will book again in the future.

Immaculate apartment, spotlessly clean and well equipped to meet our needs.

Ideally situated near the beach for walks and within easy travelling distance to Morecambe which was perfect for our 4 night stay.

Wow what a lovely holiday apartment.

Position and view amazing. Very clean, best shower ever! As recommended in previous reviews, main bedroom just needs some curtains. One other small recommendation is to have a coat stand or hooks for coats in the hall. Would highly recommend and hope to return very soon. Thank you.

The house was lovely and could tell most things were new.

Excellent location for the Bay Area however very little in the ways of things to do. Had to venture further afield for that. I was under the impression that noise was kept to a minimum after a certain time which I adhered to however wasn’t afforded the same courtesy from the apartment above which at times sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. The outside astroturf did smell a little bit but nothing to overpowering. All in all a lovely few days away.

The property has everything we needed and more.

Extra touches included dog treats which were very much appreciated. Lovely quiet area and parking no problems at all.

The apartment is brilliant it has everything you need and is kept sooo clean everything is like brand new. Small details matter we have stayed in many cottages, lodges and apartments and this has to be the best equipt. Heysham beach is perfect for dogs and we went on many walks it's a stones throw from the beach. Well done to the owners we will be back.

Didn't sleep well main bedroom needs curtains as it was to bright.

When the chap was home omg he sleeps 3 hours a night and omg I can tell as I heard every foot step he made. So even with all that I can cope with no sleep as long as my dog had the time of his life on the beach meeting all the other lovely dogs everyone was so friendly. Yes I wud go back for that reason.

The accommodation is immaculately clean and furnished .

Everything needed is provided even down to the dog bowls and doggy goody bag. Fabulous.

Had a very enjoyable stay the beds were the most comfortable we have slept in when booking through Sykes .

The house in general was very good and very clean and we would definitely stay again . The location was good within easy reach of local beach and amenities with great views of the bay . Would recommend .

We hesitated in booking this apartment as only a couple of reviews.

We were so very very Happy that we did. It is a completly renovated apartment. Everything from Ceiling to floor including all electricals are new. What a beautiful position this apartment has, with a room leading off front with fantastic view of Sandylands Beach. If walkers. Walkers with Dogs like us or cyclists will love the near 5 miles of front pathways. Fantastic time we had. The welcome pack for our little dog went down well too. There are Guide Books maps etc to help enhance your fantastic time you will have here in this apartment. Also Owners are very keen to help if anything you need. Which we did not. Enjoy!.

It might be useful to have a mat by the front door for wet paws and maybe a little hoover for any fluff. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend

We couldn’t fault our stay at Brynmar, it’s a little gem!

The location is next to the bay, which is provides beautiful walks around Heysham. The property itself has a fabulous view of the bay, which our dog very much enjoyed, watching walkers up and down. It was clean, has a lovely modern decor and the owners had thought of every detail which was very much appreciated. Towels, bedding, tea towels, labelled keys to doors and windows, books of the area, cot and highchair, information on how to use all appliances, the kitchen was very well equipped. Our Dog was very happy with the dog treats gifted. Shops, village, dog friendly pubs and bay all in walking distance. There was plenty of street parking in front of the property as-well as a driveway for 1 vehicle. The communication with the owners was also brilliant. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
