Enjoyable holiday,met to our needs.

We do love Cosy Bee, it is a nice little cottage in the heart of Heysham.

We have used it before and hopefully we will again

Lovely location and very comfy.

Had a relaxing stay and some nice walks with our dog. Generally everything we needed was available in the property and plenty of blankets to snuggle after our walks

An absolutely delightful little cottage based in the picturesque village of Heysham The cottage had everything we needed and the enclosed back garden is ideal.

We were very happy at Cosy Bee and will use it again in the future

The cottage is clean, comfortable, and well equipped.

A garden for the dogs and lovely walks from the door. Even the weather was good! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future

Cosybee lives upto its name,very pleasant, dog orientated with pleasant walks.

Lovely property well stocked even down to bowls and blankets for the dog.

Towels and dish towels. We found no faults with cosy bee ,we had a great time and would consider going again.

Lovely little cottage with everything needed and close to the beach.

Just felt it needed a deep clean, I dropped a comb in twin room and had to move bedside cabinet to get it and was shocked at dust underneath. Also quite a few cobwebs about on arrival, a big one across kitchen window. Would still visit again, just a shame about the cleanliness.

this was our forth stay at cosy bee cottage and it did not dissappoint, It is set in a loverly village close to all amenities, comfy beds a back garden for the dog we`ve had a wonderful relaxing week here.

One toilet roll for 4 people for a week?

Cleaning products very few available. 1 black sack for rubbish, plenty of dog hairs in corners and behind the doors.

Perfect location.

Parking next to door made daily loading/unloading very easy. Slope was no issue as had read previous feedback so was ready for it. Rear yard very dog secure. All good

Although it had everything you needed and on the surface looked clean it does need a proper full cleaning and airing .

A quiet area and locals friendly. Parking would be tricky with a large car. We found some nice walks with our 2 dogs. Hope to return in the future

No mop?

Then found, but NO foam left on? Towels smelt damp/not fresh...partner had ok sleep in double bed, but I slept in single closest to door . It felt tilted, feel turn over I would fall out on floor?? A few blinds not working correctly? Bungalow overall good But. For us inclined drive (which didn't show on photos) small tight space in a one way street...my partner aided with zimmer frame, struggling to get to bungalow, even with concrete ramp.. sorry With our age and disability would not ever come back.. SHAME!

We stayed for 18 nights , not on holiday but temporary accommodation due to not being able to stay in our home.

Location great, a street away from the sea front. The grumbles would be , we asked for a second door key, due to us carrying on our day to day , work sleep repeat. This was refused, which when you are paying a lot of money to stay here, asking for a second key is not much to request. The accommodation was dirty on arrival, black dog hairs everywhere, cupboard dirty, bowl had dried food on them. Window dirty. Skirting boards covered in dust , hair and spillage.

Cosy Bee is an adorable little cottage in the very heart of Heysgam Village.

The owners have gone to great lengths to make it really homely and provide everything you could need for a break. Very clean and tidy with a fab enclosed garden. There was an issue with the shower whilst I was there but the owner was onto it in a flash arranging the supplier to attend.

Lovely little house, only a short distance from the sea front at Heysham.

Lots of shops and other facilities within a short distance. Very comfortable stay. Only just enough room on the parking area for my Mazda 6 estate. Could do with a mat in shower as the floor is a bit too textured.

Lovely little bungalow, comfortable clean and affordable.

Close to beach which was great for our dog who loved it. Had some lovely walks and visited some really nice places. If you’re feeling energetic try the walk into morecambe to get your steps in there are plenty of nice little cafes on the way to rest. Nice friendly neighbors too. Would recommend for a break away though I’m glad my husband parked the car as the parking is a little tight - no issue for him. Quiet relaxing break. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Nice clean cottage in a quiet location,well equipped.

great for dog walks on the nearby beach nice walk into Morcombe.Lancaster is a must to visit.We are looking to book again for next year.good takeaways nearby.

It really is cosy.

Very quiet location but 2 pubs, beach, village green, historic church and places to eat all within a few minutes walk. Everything in the kitchen, including the cooker, was in as new condition. If I was coming back to this area I would definitely use this cottage again.

Perfect location.

Cosy Bee is certainly cosy for 2 people but I wouldn't recommend it for 4 especially if it's 4 adults. There is only seating for 3 people at the dining table and the lounge although comfortable is very snug and not big enough if there were 4. Also maybe a few general items could be provided, for example, washing up liquid, a kitchen towel and an extra toilet roll as there was only the remains of one left, and perhaps a pint of milk. I understand its SC but these few items would certainly make a difference. However on the plus side we really did enjoy our week!

A well appointed cottage.

Beautiful. For dog owners, this is the cottage for you. An enclosed garden with different levels and plants to sniff. A dog box with blankets available to use. Wonderful walks on your door step. It is a very dog friendly area. Never seen so many Frenchies in my life! This was truly the best cottage we have stayed in. Exceptionally clean and well supplied with everything you need.

A lovely bungalow in an interesting part of town within a very short walking distance of the sea and coastal path.

Rear garden area totally safe for a four legged friend and lends itself to sitting outside in the sun should you be lucky enough to get any. Recommend the Chinese takeaway just round the corner excellent meals. Viking rock cut graves and ruined chapel an interesting visit. Would definitely stay here again, very satisfied with our stay.

We were very comfortable and warm in Cosy Bee, despite extremely cold weather.

Everything we needed including escape free yard for my beagle. Great location for walking and driving along the coast and good pubs and cafes in the village. Only downsides, on arrival the front door key was so bent we had to borrow a hammer from a neighbour to straighten it before we could get in. It was exchanged a couple of days later but the door lock maybe needs replacing as it was still a struggle, also the vacuum cleaner was hopeless and needs a clean itself. Otherwise good stay and good value for money.

I book all my holidays with Sykes this shouldn’t be on there books we were going for a nice family Christmas with my wife’s 80year old parents we had all electrical sockets apart from kitchen trip I unplugged all sockets but still kept tripping I had to buy extension lead to run from kitchen to lounge there was damp in wardrobe running into plug socket we had no correspondence from owner or caretaker we left 3 days early as the cable running across the floor was not safe cleanliness is not brilliant I would not recommend renting until all electric s and damp are sorted the worst place I have booked through Sykes I wouldn’t bother to book this place better places around area this is just a greed over safety plac

Great facilities, including sharp knifes!

Parking tight but still very useful. Bigger more powerful shower would be nice. Mirror for shaving by bathroom sink would be useful. Would recommend.

This was our third holiday at the Cosy Bee We had a good week the cottage has all the amenities you can wish for although we only used the kettle in the kitchen everything was there Ideal place for visiting places along the coast and lake District

This is the second time we have stayed here this year.

Still very nice, clean, well equipped and great location. The area and surrounding areas are very dog friendly also.

A lovely cottage.

Plenty of space for us and our two dogs. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The secure, fully enclosed back garden is great for the dogs. It is a lovely base to explore the area. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Cosy B is a comfortable and well equipped property that is close to the beach and near to an excellent pub.

The village is quaint and historic. There is a regular bus service and easy walking route along the promenade to Morecambe for those wishing to park up for the week in the driveway of the cottage.

The light in the living room was not bright enough and as we ate our meals at the table the light was no where near We would have preferred a half dishwasher in the kitchen rather than a washing machine which we didn’t use

Cosy Bee was just what we were looking for.

It is in a very quiet and friendly village with lots of places close by to visit with the dog. We found the cottage very clean and had all facilities that you could ask for, with some extra's for the dog such as throws for the furniture. My mother is blind and found the layout of the Cosy Bee easy to navigate. We did find the beds a little too firm but that is a personal preference not a negative reflection on the cottage itself. We will definitely look at returning in the future.

Lovely cottage, considering it is dog friendly it was spotless, clean inside and outside, everything you need in the kitchen, can`t say anything negative at all, lovely stay and lovely area, Neighbours were very helpful too

Wow wow wow Fab.

I went with my 2 rescue dogs 8-12 May. The bungalow was beautiful and immaculately clean. I took 2 big throws with me for the furniture but after reading the info folder I found about 6 in the property and a big bean bag, dog bowls and games. Kitchen fully equipped with more than what was needed. I also took s+p, kitchen roll and toilet roll with cleaning products but they were all there, even pooh bags!! I would definitely recommend and will be booking again in the future. Thank you, really enjoyed my our stay

Lovely clean and comfortable cottage, lives up to it's name.

Beautifully situated in Heysham close to the sea with lovely walks on the doorstep. A walk over the headland take you to Half Moon Bay with a lovely beach and great little cafe. We recently returned from a week there with our two little dogs and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will certainly be back!

Comfy home from home.

Small but compact. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen.only problem I had was accessing wifi with password given maybe it was me but I have never had problems before. Nice walks around lovely Chineese round the corner

Loved the cottage, seating four people to view the TV is awkward and there is a bit of mold in the twin bedroom.

overall we enjoyed our stay and the location is great for access to the prom and old village

We recently stayed at Cosy Bee cottage with our German Shepherd dog Benny.

Everything was OK apart from the sofa which we found very uncomfortable. We had to take turns at sitting in the arm chair. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom we found were dated. The location was excellent. Lovely walks a few minutes away.

Have used Sykes cottages many times and this is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed in a cottage.

Location and layout of the bungalow is fine unfortunately it was the little things that was disappointing. Cleanliness of the stove, the windows were filthy and door ledges.

We had a lovely stay at Cosy Bee and are very grateful to the owner(s) for letting us take our three small dogs to stay- our blind poodle spent most of the week in the cottage but was no trouble and ( as usual!

) slept most of the day. Cosy Bee is in a great location- having lived in Lancaster and Morecambe I knew what to expect and was familiar with Heysham Village- the steepness of the drive came as no surprise! It was very peaceful at night and the next door neighbours, who we met very briefly, were friendly. The facilities were good and provided everything we needed, I especially liked the pretty enclosed garden. The beds were comfy and overall the cottage was clean, albeit for some slight discolouration to the living room carpet which is only to be expected in a dog-accommodating dwelling and it didn’t matter to us. The only reason why I am grading 4 stars is because I personally found the living room sofa very uncomfortable ( I have back and neck issues). After a long day of walking I could have done with a firmer sofa to chill on- but I compensated by going to bed to lie down . The handbook was very informative and helpful. We left comments in the Visitor Book about our stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if and when I am next up that way. Many thanks once again to the owner from 2 happy hoomans and 3 happy pups.

really enjoyed our weeks stay at cosy bee, good location but as stated very steep drive incline.

!! not helped by road being closed at top end(not owners fault atall) lovely comfy cottage all round. only probs found was a grill pan full of old rancid fat in cupboard and fridge freezer needed urgent defrosting as wouldnt shut properly.

Cosy Bee is a great little cottage that suited our needs perfectly, there is no doubt that we will be back next year.

If I have to make a comment about improvement: There is a street light outside the main bedroom window, a heavier curtain or a blackout screen would help to cut out the permanent daylight.

This was a really good property and we enjoyed our stay and plan to return again.

We absolutely loved our short stay at Cosy Bee.

The property and location was perfect for us, and it was great to be able to park outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cosy bee although there was no welcome pack, on arrival no milk and only one toilet roll, had to go to shop straight away.

Other than that we enjoyed it, beds comfy, cosy lounge and central to village. This is our 2nd time here and will probably come again.

My husband and I had a lovely week away in this property, it was a spacious property that had all the comforts of home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week away, with the beach on your doorstep for walks after tea and may places like Morecambe, Lancaster, Blackpool, South Port and the Lake District close by.

We had a few problems with this property found dried food on plates and pans, the fridge was freezing fresh products even when on a low setting it needed to be totally defrosted.

The oven didn't work but we only wanted to use it 1 night to cook a pizza that ended up in the bin. Bathroom needs a good revamp. Hoover needed in the lounge. Beds and bedding very good also good tv and wi-fi. A little more attention to this property would do wonders what a shame because it is in a great little village.

Lovely cosy bungalow in a perfect location for days out.

Comfortable beds and furniture which made our stay welcoming. We visited in November but we were warm and comfortable.

Overall excellent.

Very clean and tidy in appearance. Well organised. The firm mattress was great for our back issues. Very good internet speed, and TV Netflix worked no problem. The location is a winner, with cafes nearby and the coast down the road. My only criticisms are. . . . . . There was a slight smell in the living room, possibly from a previous dog. The shower had weak water pressure. I would consider adding an ironing board and iron. Thanks for a stress free stay. It lived up to expectations!

On arrival we found Cosy Bee had not been cleaned to our expectations.

We had to carry out cleaning in the kitchen, shower room, hall and main bedroom. We feel the cottage is tired and needs some tlc.

No all was good.

A great restful break for the family.

Great accommodation, had everything we needed. Comfy beds, adequate showering facilities and round the corner from the beach and walking trails! We're hoping to rebook soon!!

We had to buy memory foam toppers for the beds as they were too firm and very uncomfortable.

Other than that everything was great and the bungalow was in a wonderful location.

Although the property is compact it had everything we required for our weeks stay, the property was clean and comfortable.

The location is good and only a few minutes walk from the beach with Morecambe and large supermarkets a couple of miles away. The location is a good base too explore from and overall we would recommend.

It would be nice to have blind in the bathroom and also there were alot of cobwebs but apart from that everything was lovely especially the rear garden

Cosy Bee was perfect for the two of us and our little dog.

It'd be good for a couple with 2 young children but it's worth noting that the lounge might be a bit small for 4 adults. We found lots of beautiful walks/views locally and around Arnside, Silverdale and Crook O' Lune and we intend to come back again.

A compact two-bedroom bungalow which was an ideal base for the week at a sensible price.

The orthopaedic mattresses suited us perfectly and the smart TV was a bonus with dark November evenings. The location in the picturesque part of Heysham was pleasing with a short walk to the cliffs with the Saxon chapel and to the beach. We would return to this rental in due course if it is still available.

A nice tidy little bungalow, the only little niggles for me were just personal things, like no blind at the huge bathroom window, the bed was very hard, and I couldn't sleep under a duvet that was covered in bees (we'd taken our own duvet and cover so that was ok!

) . As I say just personal things, other people wouldn't be bothered, so I would definitely recommend this holiday bungalow. It is in a very quite little street, so very peaceful, with lots of walks along the coast, and the beach just a few minutes walk away - ideal for us with our two standard poodles.

Wonderful week, excellent location, bus service first class, walking easy and very close to the cottage.

Cottage well kept, clean and well equiped. It is the sort of place you would want to re-visit (we certainy will) Even the weather was kind, The old village is a delight to walk through leading to a wonderful headland walk.

Lovely village location with many amenities nearby, but best of all the location is close to a variety of dog walks on the coast.

Lovely village, friendly people and gorgeous bay/coastline. Cosy Bee was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Cottage obviously recently refurbished pleasant interior in a good location of Heysham village.

Kitchen well equipped though short of a few basic items. Unfortunately we cut our stay short due to the very hard beds and pillows. We also found the WIFI could be a bit troublesome. On the plus side the cottage is warm, with a comfy lounge with a good television (though more suited to just a couple due to only one sofa) fine though for a short stay.
