“We had a fantastic week at Lund where the views from the property overlooking Lake Windermere were stunning.”

The location was perfect for enjoying all the lake district has to offer and right next to the ferry across to Bowness. The cottage was clean and very comfortable and the additional bonus of a welcome basket of local produce was a lovely touch. Our week stay at Lund was from the 8th to the 15th of November and as you would expect at that time of the year quite cold. The central heating system alone was not reaching the set temperature and therefore we found the property quite chilly. My advice ...

My advice to anyone booking to stay at Lund in the Winter months, is to arrive with a good supply of logs as you will need to use them along with the central heating to keep the place warm. We would definitely return.
