Excellent accommodation, good location near the promenade, and great view.

We had a lovely comfortable week and the owners let us know that the property was ready for an early arrival which was nice.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable property with amazing views over Morcambe Bay.

Owners have thought of every comfort and very well equipped. Very well placed for exploring both the lakes and coastline.

Shore View is a lovely property with good parking and fabulous views over the bay, we even saw a badger walking up the edge of the grass from the lounge window.

The beds were very comfortable and so were the recliner sofas. Great kitchen with everything you could need. The down stairs loo was handy too. We only used the upstairs shower which was great with good water pressure. The only 2 things missing were the bedrooms need a full length mirror and it would be great to have a clothes line of some kind outside. We did find that we had to sleep with the bedroom windows closed after leaving them open on he first night we were woken up early by the trains the next morning which started at 4.50am during our stay (they did not run through the night) but after we slept with the windows closed the noise was ok and it would not put us off staying here again but I think if you were light sleepers you might want to pack ear plugs just in case . The property is in a perfect part of Grange and is only a short walk onto the lovely promenade . There are so many beautiful places to see & visit whilst staying here too. Also thank you for the lovely biscuits. We hope to stay here again when we next visit Grange Over Sands. Thank you Stuart & Julie

Shore view is a delightful house.

Rooms are comfortable and everywhere is well equipped The views from every room are a wow factor and make you smile, lovely having somewhere to sit out with a drink Great position for estuary walks (nice and flat too!) Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved the trains passing

Clean, well presented, and well equipped holiday home.

It is well placed for walks along the promenade with a path very close to the house. Access to park the car outside the house a bit awkward as limited space to manoeuvre, though probably not a problem for most visitors. Grange over Sands a lovely friendly place with many attractive places to visit in the area, whether walking, travelling by car bus or train. More elderly or less mobile may find the stairs in Shore View steep, especially with living room upstairs. We enjoyed our stay there very much, but poor weather prevented us from using the little garden to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet there.

Our second visit (this year) was just as enjoyable as our first visit (last year) and we hope to be able to make a third visit next year.

Lovely clean house with very comfortable beds, and ever changing views across the estuary.

Everything you need for a holiday was provided with a shops nearby and a good range of places to eat in the town. Particularly appreciated the large screen smart tv as the weather wasn’t great, but enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Owners communication was excellent

Shore View, Grange over Sands.

Just returned from a 7 day stay, first visit to the Lakes. Very very pleased with Shore View, spotlessly clean, compact semi detached house, very well stocked, plenty of information on the area provided and a very nice touch to provide tea coffee milk & shortbread on arrival. Really comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Superb views over Morecambe Bay. Super Hosts, very friendly.

It had everything we needed for our holiday. In a great location for walks along the Grange-over-Sands promenade with the bonus of ever-changing views across Morecambe Bay. We look forward to returning in the future.

My husband and I have now had two stays in this house.

Both have been excellent in every way. The decor and facilities are first rate especially the kitchen equipment. The views from both up and downstairs are simply delightful. . The house is well placed for leisurely strolls along the promenade into Grange, where there is a variety of shops. We hope to return soon. Susan

Lovely clean house very comfortable

Lovely little house well situated to explore the lakes.

10/15 mins walk to the shops. View across the estuary. Most well equipped house we’ve stayed in, real home from home. Super comfy beds. Only negative for us was the fairly steep stairs & with the lounge being upstairs you do find yourself going up and down more often, but that could be due to our ages. Overall had a lovely stay.

Absolutely loved this property - it's in a gorgeous area overlooking the bay & having the living room upstairs with binoculars to look through was amazing.

The property was light and lovely presented. Extremely clean and well stocked with dishes, cups glasses etc & the cleaning package, along side with milk, tea & biscuits was an additional surprise. Would more than happy to return to this property.

Loverly house beautiful view of the bay the house had everything you could need and a good spot for getting around and the information pack was the best I've ever had would highly recommend this house for comfort and cleanliness.

Our first stay at Shore View which was really enjoyable.

The property was immaculately presented and it was a joy to stay in such pleasant surroundings. Also the weather was very much in our favour with regular sunny days which helped to enhance the spectacular view of Morecambe Bay. A fabulous house in a super location with a view over Morecambe Bay.

Having the upstairs lounge and the Juliet balcony adds to its attraction. The Stressless leather settees and footstools are very comfortable.

The views are spectacular and a few short minutes walk to the promenade . Plenty of walks and access to further afield. Adequate shops and cafes ensuring a very good holiday.

Great place to stay

The house was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need.

Clean laundry was available for the second week which was much appreciated. Everything was easy to find and instructions were very clear. We had a wonderful two weeks. Thank you to Stuart and Carole.

We love Shore View.

Have stayed a few times now, so feels a real “ home from home”. Every window has a view over the Bay, quite exceptional. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, beautiful well fitted kitchen with lovely dining area, and the upstairs lounge has ever changing views across the Bay (all depending on the weather!!!). A beautiful outside terrace.

Been a few times now and it feels like “home from home”. Will be back again really soon, as we like it so much. The views from every window are tremendous. The bedrooms are lovely and the kitchen has everything you need. Sitting outside on a lovely sunny day, looking across the Bay, what more could you want?

Fabulous ever-changing views across Morecambe Bay and everything we needed for a great holiday. It's in a good position for exploring Grange-over-Sands and the Southern Lake District.

The property was very clean, well equipped and comfortable.

The garden was nice and tidy with a view over the bay. If we go back to the area we will have no hesitation in booking the property again. We highly recommend it.

Lovely view overlooking Morecambe Bay. It is nice and clean, no pets allowed, we are so glad. As some people do have allergies. We would love to go back again later this year. Thank you to the owners, it is a credit to them.

Absolutely loved our stay at Shore View.

Great property and fabulous location. Very private, peaceful and the perfect rest for my partner who is slowly recovering from a very serious illness in January. Loved coming back here each day after short trips out in one of our favourite areas which we have previously visited but that one had owners living in the property and lacked the privacy and quiet of Shore View. The weather was kind and allowed us to enjoy the garden and wonderful views from all the rooms especially the juliet balcony opening from the upstairs lounge in the evenings. Really hope to revisit. We loved our stay and had everything we needed - except for wonderful weather, but it was March, so not surprising.

It would have been lovely to sit and eat outside and enjoy the view across the bay. However the view was spectacular, especially from the lounge area. The proximity of access to the promenade was a bonus and we enjoyed the walk along the prom from Shore View to the railway station for our visit to RSPB Leighton Moss, a short walk from Silverdale station. Stuart and Carole kept in touch prior to our arrival, and Carole even sent me information about a talk in Grange, which she thought might be of interest. Highly recommended.

It was a delight to stay at Shore View as soon as we walked into the house knew it was going to be brilliant.

The decor and the choice of furnishing , especially the kitchen/diner were in my favourite colour. The view from the lounge was great. Would like to stay in the summer to get the benefit of the outside area which is perfect for sunny days. Christine & Bernard

Every window has a sea view. Fully equipped kitchen for anyone wanting to cook. Lovely sun terrace (that’s if you get the sun!). Ideal spot.

The position of the house is perfect for walking into Grange along a lovely promenade, for using the local train service to other local landmarks and places of interest such as Arnside. The views from the lounge provide an ever changing picture of the dynamic estuary of Morecambe bay.This is a a very comfortable holiday home.

We loved Shore View its a lovely little house with everything you could need.

Very clean and comfortable.The sea view is the best thing! Maybe not good for elderly or infirm with the sitting room upstairs, there's lots of going up and down!

The property had everything we needed and we found the beds to be comfortable.

There is a railway line close to the property and we could hear the trains running early in the morning. The owner controls the gas central heating from his phone so we did not have the choice to turn the heating on when we were cold.

Particularly liked the amount of mugs, plates etc provided, which meant that you could load the dishwasher fully. Thank you

Very well equipped, spotless, comfy beds, very pretty garden, excellent parking next to the house, lovely ever changing views across the Bay. Approx 15 mins walk into Grange either along the promenade or via the main high street. A home from home.

A very well appointed and well maintained holiday cottage, with fantastic views and very conveniently located for shopping - just a short walk away.

We stayed at Christmas and a particularly nice and unexpected touch was the Christmas decor and the bag of festive goodies.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shore View.

It was our first visit to this property but it won’t be the last. Everything was really good: the bedrooms, bathrooms, dining area and kitchen. Every window had a perfect view of Morecambe Bay. This was probably due to the time of year and no foliage on the trees. Have been to Grange over Sands on numerous occasions, staying at all of the hotels over the years, but believe me, Shore View certainly has the views!!

We had a very relaxing stay in spite of the weather. We would certainly consider returning to Shore View at some stage.

There was plenty of kitchen equipment in the property and the double bed was very comfortable, but I didn't find the sofas comfortable.

The views from the property are wonderful, the upstairs lounge is a good idea but I would have preferred the kitchen to be alongside the lounge rather than on the ground floor. Lots of up and down the stairs !!!!! Overall I had a nice few days, handy for the promenade and the walk into Grange but sadly the weather spoiled it for me, but that can't be helped I know. Some of the knives in the drawer weren't clean but I soaked them, probably the dishwasher not doing it's job properly.

An exceptionally clean, superbly equipped and comfortable house. Enchanting sea and and sunrise views over Morecambe Bay. Excellent location. Able to abandon car for promenade walks/shops. Beautiful Ornamental Gardens and Hazlemere Coffee Shop in Grange. Perfect location for easy car access to Lakeside ticket office, (boat trip on Windermere), Cartmel (sticky toffee pudding and 61 choices of ice cream), and Ulverston (surprisingly interesting Laurel and Hardy Museum). Recommend tapas at Greek restaurant in Grange over Sands. Altogether a very good week’s break. Highly recommend with especial thanks to property owners who demonstrated an incredible eye for fine detail of facilities. Even a telescope to look out over the Bay in first floor living room.

Lovely clean, fresh, modern, and well thought out holiday home.

Loved the fact that it had plenty of cutlery, pots, glasses and other equipment, meaning we were not continuously washing things and could just use the dishwasher once a day. Great views from the garden and also from the upstairs sitting room which is blessed with comfortable seating. Located about a mile along the promenade from the town but some shops including a small Tesco and Co-op are about half a mile away. Welcome pack of milk, biscuits and a few teabags and coffee sachets, and a useful cleaning pack of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, dishcloth and pan-scrub. Really had a great time and so close to the lakes as well.

Sitting upstairs looking at view over the sands-priceless. We could sell up and move there tomorrow. Just a great find. We will be back. Thankyou.

A great property with absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The generous kitchen diner is very well equipped. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc.. Great to have a full size dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer dryer. Bedrooms are small but with hanging space and plenty of drawers. It was also easy to get the house nice and cosy with adjustable heating. Comfy beds and good showers. The patio was a lovely space to watch the sunrise over the shore. An easy walk to town where there are plenty of individual shops, small supermarkets, a great butchers and lovely cafes/restaurants. The development the property is in was nice and quiet. You would be hard pressed to find a better property in my opinion.

This house is in a quiet, pleasant location.

Parking is right next to the door which makes loading and unloading very convenient. It is like walking into a new house, everything is clean and well appointed. My only slight criticisms are that the photographs make the rooms appear to be larger than they are, and the reclining seats are not that comfortable if one person wants to stretch out! The mattresses, too (perhaps a matter of personal taste) are not that comfortable. The views are pleasant (obscured by a few too many trees) and it is an easy walk into Grange over Sands. Apart from the shed outside, there is not a great deal of storage space (the bedrooms do not contain wardrobes).

Shore View was perfect for us.

With my partner having Emphasymia we sometimes have problems being able to walk far if there are too many hills. Whilst Grange itself is quite hilly, we had no problems walking there from Shore View.The accommodation was outstanding with everything needed and more. Views were beautiful and having the lounge upstairs meant we could enjoy them even more. Having a small telescope provided was a great addition to the lounge as was the juliette balcony, so doors could be opened providing wonderful views across the bay, and sunrises which were amazing . I loved the large kitchen diner which made it a pleasure when I needed to cook instead of eating out. We so enjoyed our strolls into the town along the prom with several places to enjoy meals or just a coffee. For September we were blessed with good weather and able to enjoy trips from there to Windermere and up the coast to Walmley Island with great walks and views, and Whitehaven with it's beautiful harbour. There are lots of places within reach from here. The owners had thought of everything, we really didnt want to leave, but so hope to return again.

Lovely property would certainly go back

Very comfortable and well equipped holiday home with fabulous views in a welcoming town.

Grange over Sands is a well kept, pretty spot with many delightful shops and places to sit over lunch or coffee. Ideal for trips into the Lakes or closer by. Parking very easy at house and in the town, but we enjoyed strolling in along the promenade!

Shore View was fantastic.

Definitely a five star house. However one small negative……the towels provided were poor quality and not up to the standard of the accommodation.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Shore View despite poor weather.

We particularly liked the upstairs lounge with it's great views across Morecambe Bay. There is a path from the bottom of the estate leading down to Grange prom from where you can walk to the town centre and opposite end of Grange. Shore View was spotlessly clean and had all we needed for a good week's holiday. We are happy to recommend it.

Fantastic property.

Views stunning. Kitchen supplied with everything you need to self cater. Beds comfy. Shower spacious and efficient. The only reason I gave a 9 as far as recommending Sykes is because I felt the text and email a day before we were due to leave kind of spoiled our last day. I understand it is probably Covid related but personally we didn’t feel it necessary. We are already checking your listings for our next adventure.

The cottage was very clean but the bathroom floors were very dusty and the upstairs one had a lot of long black hairs - not mine or hubby's.

The views from the house was amazing it was well equiped and very clean and the location was perfect we look forward to staying here again

This is a very comfortable, modern and cosy house with Wifi, which is well equipped, has a garden and lovely sea views and is within walking distance of Grange - Over- Sands and there is also a scenic walk to Kents Bank railway station.

We enjoyed exploring South Lakeland and visited Holker Hall Gardens and Brantwood Gardens, however National Trust places had to be pre-booked and we couldn't do this. Also the Windermere ferry wasn't operating but local traffic in July and numbers of tourists were less, so we avoided the crowds and had an enjoyable holiday.

The house is lovely, modern and cosy, fabulous views, sparkling clean and very well equipped.

Only small comments, no egg cups for boiled eggs, no slice for lifting food from grill or pan and the pillows are all very firm. Maybe a mix of softer pillows would be more comfortable for some. We loved the house and it was a great holiday very relaxing. Do so hope there won't be anything built behind. There was some work going on during our stay, diggers etc.? The trains are not an issue but may be an unwanted surprise, so may be should be mentioned in the description.
