Large windows run the length of this idyllic space, creating not only a light and airy atmosphere, but a stunning backdrop to this social hub, as guests make the most of the ample amenities in the contemporary kitchen, serving their masterpiece at the dining table before settling into the stylish sitting area for a movie marathon.
Freshen up in the bathroom with either a soak in the tub or a warm shower, before settling into one of the well-presented bedrooms, choosing between a king-size and a double.
Knot-End-on-Sea is a delightful coastal village, and within walking distance of the property you will find a footpath, a shop and a pub, as well as a beautiful beach and local golf course.
Head over to Fleetwood for another lovely beach, a local museum where you can learn about the history and heritage of the area, and Fleetwood Marsh Nature Reserve, ideal for birdwatching.
From here, visit the bustling seaside town of Blackpool, where there is a zoo, museum, well-known pier and amusements, and there is also a fantastic selection of rides for an adrenaline-filled afternoon.
To spend the day in the countryside, hiking and enjoying the fresh air, head over to the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, for walks such as Hawthornthwaite Fell, The Arbour and White Hill, and beyond this, the Lake District National Park.

This accommodation is fantastic in every possible way.
It's so immaculately maintained that I asked the hosts (Andy & Julie) if they just finished refurbishing it. Not the case but it feels like it. Also, every little need you may have for day-to-day living has been thought of as the flat is thoroughly stocked with all the essentials and then some, but it is not even remotely cluttered. Knott-End is a very easy little out of the way village to fall in love with. It first starts with the incredible view once you enter this flat, but thats just the beginning. It has such an easy, almost old-school way of life with the entire village literally right outside the door. Two nice pubs, four take-away restaurants (all quite good), a butcher shop, a fresh fish market, a bakery, a cheese shop, two well stocket little grocery stores, and two coffee shops not more than a 3 min walk away. Perhaps the best part of the accommodation was the hosts. Their communication prior to arrival was very professional and left absolutely nothing to chance without being a nuisance. They did come up to introduce themselves at our request but other than that, you never really knew they were there (no overbearing micromanagement of your stay), and they are extremely nice, conscientious people. I don't just want to go back as I will do that again soon, I just don't ever want to leave. Highly recommended.
The view /panoramic window is an absolute show stopper.
The rest of the experience and the place was brilliant. Very clean, tidy and well equipped. Everything is easy. There is dedicated parking and they left a welcome pack too. Andy and Julie were on hand if needed but also left me to it. A great, peaceful spot for a break. But also a great location for visiting Lancashire and Cumbria spots. I wouldn't hesitate to return one day.
