  • "An exceptional property."

We were blown away with how clean and cosy the property was. Owner has gone above and beyond with everything. It was perfectly equipped with everything you could have needed. Wonderful location, only a 2 minute walk to the ferry which was handy! One of the best holiday let’s I have every stayed in. Couldn’t recommend more.

  • "Lovely spacious property, high quality fittings and furnishings throughout, well equipped kitchen if you prefer to self cater rather than eating out."

We had everything we needed for a nice relaxing family break. Good base for exploring the South Lakes, the weather was kind to us and we didn't want to come home!

  • "We have had a fantastic stay at Beech Lea."

We love the Lakes It is our favourite place in the UK and we have been visiting as a family for over 12 years. We really did not want to leave, everything was perfect and very much home from home, obviously minus the view. All in all we could not fault our stay at all and we are very fussy.

The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge.
