  • "Westwood House is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our stay."

It is within very easy walking distance of very many shops, restaurants, bars etc. The house was spotless and so so comfortable we didn’t want to leave, in fact had it been available for a few more days we would have stayed on. Lytham itself is a lovely little town with lots of local independent businesses. A trip to Lytham Hall is a really good idea. Also, I just want mention Christine the owner who was so very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. An absolute 5 star break. Can’t wait to go back Thank you

Awh. Thank you Jane for such lovely feedback. Hope you come to Lytham again. Xx Property Owner

Accommodation just as the pictures portrayed. So often they can disappoint but not here. Personal contact by telephone by the owner prior to our stay was most welcome and made us feel confident about our booking. We had a wonderful relaxing week and would highly recommend this property. • "The host gave me a call a few days before to go over a few things which was great."

The house is beautiful, very clean, great setting 2 minute walk to the lovely town. Very well equipped house, very high standard furnishings and great for 2 families as there are 2 large bathrooms and a toilet downstairs. The kitchen, living area is stunning with lots of light and leads in to a lovely, sunny garden. The neighbourhood is ver friendly and everyone is happy to chat. Lytham is a lovely town, fabulous restaurants or take seats if you want to stay at home. There is a great walk way from Lytham to St Anne’s, wide path for cyclists and walkers and safe for kids. Lovely park round the corner for people to enjoy the tranquil setting, there is a play park for kids, a cafe and bowling. There is a great park with tennis courts and crazy golf at Fair haven Lakes which also has a coffee wagon with great coffee and there is a kiosk with ice cream. Lots of ducks and swans there to look at. I have stayed in some lovely places in the world and this is definitely in my too 10 and worth a visit.

  • "Westwood House is a fabulous cottage set within Lytham."

As you can see from the pictures and information the house is spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated throughout - and it does not disappoint when you see it!. The kitchen is also fantastic with top quality fixtures and fittings. There is a small garden which provides plenty of room to bbq and/or soak up the sun. The owner is also very helpful providing local information on places to eat and much more. It is only 5 minutes walk into Lytham which has a good selection of good restaurants and bars. The promenade running along the Ribble Estuary is also less than 5 minutes away which is perfect for a walk at any time. We will definitely be back.

About the location

Blackpool 5.2 miles.

The seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes-on-Sea nestle along a picturesque stretch of coastline lined with pretty parks. For many centuries, the economy of this lovely area was dependent entirely on fishing until the beginning the Industrial Revolution, which resulted in the wealthy creating an affluent area, lasting until the present day. A short stroll from the Lytham seafront brings you to leafy Clifton Street, where you’ll find charming boutiques, restaurants and independent shops. Lytham Green, a strip of grass running between the shore and the main coastal road, is a notable landmark, overlooking the River Ribble towards the Welsh Mountains, and home to the restored Windmill and Old Lytham Lifeboat House museum. Those interested in craft ales can take a tour of the Lytham Brewery, whilst walkers and twitchers will adore the rolling sandy dunes of St Annes-on-Sea and the Ribble Estuary providing a safe haven for more than 250,000 migrating birds that return each winter. The area is internationally renowned for golf with four courses to choose from, the most notable being the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, one of the host courses for the Open Championship. Traditional seaside pastimes can be enjoyed at St Annes-on-Sea with a pretty pier and charming little beach huts in an array of pastels offering visitors a unique, exciting addition for a day beside the sea. A short walk from the pier brings you to St Annes Square and Wood Street, where you'll find charming coffee shops, tea rooms, restaurants and independent shops. Lovely long strolls, sunny afternoons on the sand or fun-filled frolics in nearby Blackpool, Lytham St Annes is a charming coastal destination with plenty to offer. Boating, cycling, shopping and swimming can all also be enjoyed nearby, along with award-winning restaurants, traditional pubs and wine bars should you fancy celebrating. Whatever you want from your seaside getaway, Lytham St Annes is an ideal choice.
