  • "Great place to stay!"

I was a little nervous at first because the key collection email wasn't super helpful, but 2 days prior I got a very helpful text to explain the process, so all concerns were allayed! The house was fantastic! Plenty big enough for all of us, and that dining room was so lovely for a big family dinner. If I ever gather that many people again (given it was for my wedding, I hope not!) we will come back!

Hello Lizzie, thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased that you have enjoyed your stay here. Congratulations and happy marriage life! We wish you all the best and see you again in the future.☺️ Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay - family group of 20."

The variety of bedrooms was perfect for us and they were well spaced out so that no one disturbed anyone and we all had our own space. The house was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. We didnt get chance to use the rooftop garden due to weather but what a great space! The only criticism is that we were only just able to squeeze around the dining room table/s all together once. If you were a party of 20 adults you wouldn't be able to and that is something that we like to do. There is a breakfast bar with additional seating though if you are happy to be in a different room. Otherwise it was fab and the owner was very helpful too, thanks for a great weekend!

Hello Kathryn, thank you for your lovely feedback. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and the dining situation is noted. We will work on it to improve the space for dinning. Wish you all the bests! Property Owner

Great communication from the owners and the bottle of prosecco/chocolates were a lovely touch & very much appreciated. The house is fantastic, very spacious and clean. Great large rooms to congregate in & local take outs/hot spot information was provided which we used & enhanced our visit. THANK YOU!!!

  • "The property is a great size."

We mentioned the need for a curtain to block light into downstairs room which has been taken on board thank you. The listing makes it difficult to know if there are 10 rooms or 9 it would be great to have a floor plan so it was easier to assign rooms for future visits. The property whilst lovely could do with a decorative overhaul as this would propel the property from good to great. The hosts are both incredibly lovely and attentive.

Hi Tom. Thank you for your generous review. It’s always so pleasing to welcome a family group with children. And, to see the children playing happily on the sandy beach reminds us of what Morecambe is all about: Beauty Surrounds, Health Abounds. It would be wonderful to see your team returning soon. Beds, sheets and towels all lovely and clean and fresh. Owners very helpful 6 to 7 mins walk to beach front. Plenty room to also manage quite time on your own. Price of property was our main search for the property and was good value for the money we paid.

Hi Kevin, We are particularly pleased with your feedback as it lines up with the targets we have set ourselves: cleanliness, characterful, space to find quiet time, helpfulness along with good value for families. Thank you. Property Owner

Well catered for and easily accommodates varying ages. Paul, the owner was just so lovely with us all and provided us with plenty of useful info with regard to the area. He even kindly left lovely treats for the adults and children, so kind of him. All bedding and other linen was beautifully fresh and clean and genuinely nothing was too much trouble for Paul. He remained in contact throughout our stay just in case we needed anything. If you are looking for a lovely large house right near the centre of Morecambe then look no further. • "The property is spacious, clean and mostly warm and is located close to the promenade."

However it is still under renovation and some of the work was still taking place during our stay, which was unacceptable. What was also unacceptable we’re the two large dogs that appeared on the roof terrace without warning- from an adjoining flat which we were not told about. It feels like the house has been rented out before it’s completely finished and some of the work has obviously been done in a hurry.

Hi Jean. Thank you for your honest feedback. With regard to the dogs you saw, they are lovely friendly creatures owned by the tenants of an adjacent flat. Nevertheless, the tenant knew he should not allow them to roam free on the property. The dogs have now left and the owners will move on shortly, so there will be no cross-over between holiday guests and permanent tenants. Since your visit major improvement works are now completed hence any disruption is a thing of the past. Nevertheless, continuous improvement is one of our aims and we will continue to seek to improve the experience of our guests. We offer you a warm welcome if you or your family wish to return to enjoy the property. Mrs Zhang and Paul Property Owner

Not only is it a spectacular building, but it is homely, comfortable, welcoming, and spacious. Our every need was catered for. We had space to come together and places to spend quiet time. The location is also ideal, it is only a short walk to the beautiful sea front for a therapeutic and refreshing breath of fresh air. Local shops and pubs are conveniently nearby. All 20 of us could not recommend this accommodation more, we cannot wait to book again.

Thank you Tammy for your positive feedback and also for leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition. We enjoy providing a great value offering for family and friends who wish to spend quality time together and we certainly enjoyed hosting your group.
