• "This is a gem of a place."

  It is only a short walk into the town, so the location is excellent. There is room for 4 cars at the rear and plenty of on-road parking with the option of carpark at the rear of the accommodation. The views from the front facing rooms are outstanding and having breakfast in the superior room whilst looking across the bay into the Lake District was heavenly. The owners have obviously invested a lot of money in the place, and every room is decorated to an exceptionally high standard. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and device you will need. They have an amazing games room and cinema room that you could end up spending hours in and a fantastic dining room that can be used as focal point for any group gathering. The host contacted me before we arrived and made sure that we had all of the info we would need to make our stay enjoyable and hassle free. He then sent us an electronic guide which I thought was a really good idea. We had a fantastic weekend there and my only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. If you are reading this, and are in any doubt...book it! You will not regret it.

• "The property was absolutely fabulous!"

  Everything was really clean and spacious, the large rooms allowed for us all to gather and there was also plenty of room to do separate activities. The kitchen had all of the necessary amenities, cutlery, dishes etc which made cooking very easy. The sunset views were stunning and everyone was absolutely thrilled by their stay. We'd happily come back!

• "The property is fantastic and the pictures do not do justice."

  Spread over 5 floors, with very well thought through furniture and decoration, super clean, this is a truly a hidden gem for any big group. The kitchen and the dining area are fully furnished with more than everything that one would need. Due to the layout, there is enough space, both for the entire group to hangout together or have privacy as smaller groups when needed. We absolutely lovely enjoyed our stay at Eden Bay Retreat as a group of 14 plus a dog and would love to get back here. The sunset from the windows was one that I can never forget.

• "We booked this property for our large group of 20 people and what a great find it was!"

  The property is very tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. Everything we could have possibly wanted was available in the house. The kitchen was very well stocked for the amount of people we were and our hosts left us some treats to enjoy, so kind and thoughtful. The bedrooms were a great size, some with spacious en suites. Beds were extremely comfy. The large utility kitchen with a washer and dryer was excellent especially when we returned from the beach or from a day out in the lakes. The shared living spaces were fantastic especially the cinema and games room, our younger ones really enjoyed spending time there. Our hosts were very helpful, checking in with us a week before we stayed and then on the day too, making sure it all ran smoothly. We would love to stay here again and can't recommend Eden Bay retreat enough. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, wishing you all the very best and hopefully see you again soon! ❤️

• "Amazing Property & fantastic location just a stones throw from the beach."

  The home is beautifully presented. Games rooms was great adults and the kids loved it. Convenient parking at the rear. Weather wasn't great during our short stay, but we all were able to keep entertained within the home. Host was very informative, and checking in detail were easy to follow. Really well thought out property layout.

• "The best property we have rented by a country mile."

  The booking was for 10 people and there was sufficient room for double that figure. The sea front location is exquisite with free parking for 4 cars at the rear and plenty of space for free parking at the front as well. Kids and adults loved the games room and the cinema room was in full use every evening. A large well equipped kitchen and a dining room that seats around 20 people make this holiday let ideal. The place is absolutely spotless and also with free WiFi which is a handy bonus. We could not find any fault with the property at all. It’s ideally located with a short walk to the centre of Morecambe and a slightly longer walk to the delights of Happy Mount Park.

• "We booked this property with blind faith as it had a suitable number of rooms to accommodate our large group despite me not reading the reviews at the time of booking."

  Our faith definitely paid out as we had a wonderful time based on the presence of all required amenities in the kitchen, the dining area and well furnished ensuite rooms. To add to that, we were spoiled with large living room and separate games room equipped with games and audio visual facilities. The cinema room was so cosy that I found myself snoozing at one point. In addition, the location affords prime access to the marvellous lake district which was the highlight of our stay. And lastly, Elliott and Ruth were great host. Thy made sure all our questions were answered right on time and Thank you for the welcome goodies left in the kitchen.

• "A Perfect Base for Lake District Exploration!"

  Property was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Appliances were high end and quality with even an air fryer available too! No issues with the Wifi either, great coverage and speeds. Views were beautiful from the property looking over Morecambe Bay with the Lake District visible in the horizon. Local area had everything, plenty of places to eat out and supermarkets a few minutes drive away. Easy access to the main M6 motorway and only half hour away from the Lakes. Thoroughly recommended staying here. Many thanks to our host who maintained excellent communications with us and made sure everything was in order. Hope to be back again someday.

• "We had a fantastic stay."

  Great location and the house was really well equipped. Plenty of space for people to different things and not be in each others way. Really well presented and clean. Cinema room and games room were great. Host had great communication.

• "This property is the most spotlessly clean and well organised property we've ever stayed in."

  Every room is lovely and some have big bay windows with a view of the beach. There's everything in the kitchen you would need and it's all labelled, so you know where to put everything back. The cinema room is a great touch and absolutely fantastic, so is the games room. There was a lovely welcome gift of biscuits and lolly pops left for the children, which I think was a nice touch. The communication is fantastic, and the digital guide provided by the owners is brilliant, you cam look where to go before you get there, see the layout of the area, restaurants, layout of the house, you name it. I'd recommend anyone to stay here, it's a wonderful property. There weren't any complaints at all, or tips for improvements....and there were 13 of us! 5 stars from us!

• "Absolutely amazing place."

  All of us were actually shocked at how large, clean and accommodating the house was. There is plenty to do in the house with the games room and cinema and the beach is on the front door step. Elliot the owner is absolutely lovely and is happy to help with anything if you so need. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is an absolute steal and a perfect holiday. 11/10 on every single pointer.

• "Absolutely loved this house."

  Was booked for my mums 70th birthday. She herself and the rest of the family was amazed at how lovely it was. Beautifully clean, comfortable and in a great location. The younger adults and children made use of the games and cinema room downstairs and enjoyed their own space. The kitchen was extremely clean and had plenty of dining equipment etc. Bedrooms were lovely and smelt divine. I would highly recommend booking here.

• "This house is absolutely amazing!"

  The pictures don’t do it justice. We booked here last minute as a group of 18 and a dog and were the first group to stay here. The house is over 5 floors so be prepared for some exercise! The house has everything you need and more, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and there are tea/coffee making stations on other floors too which save your legs! The views across the bay are beautiful and there are plenty of rooms to sit and admire it. The children spent most of their time in the game and cinema rooms which are in the basement and out of the way so everyone else can relax on the higher floors! The owners have done a fabulous job on this property and we hope to come back one day as we had the best weekend.
