What guests are saying
Very impressed with the lodge in a lovely peaceful location overlooking the lake, the lounge, kitchen and dining area are spacious and very well equipped, the bedrooms are a reasonable size the beds are comfortable The en-suite in the main bedroom is very tight on space and if you are a tall or larger person you would struggle to use the toilet comfortable as your knees would be against the radiator which poses a risk if the heating is on.
And the space to get into the shower cubicle is limited .The main bathroom has a full size bath with shower over it , but again the space when using the toilet is tight and your left leg is against a radiator. The bath has a full size bath but would benefit from a hand rail on the wall to assist less agile people to get in and out of the bath safely. The corridor leading to the bedroom and bathroom is narrow and so are all the bedroom doors. The lodge can accommodate eight people but it might be a tight squeeze. We loved the lodge and adapted to use its facility and would definitely book again. We dining at the restaurant onsite on two occasions at lunch time and enjoyed both meals and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We peaceful and restful stay which is what we need wish we could have stayed longer perhaps next time.
Thankyou for a great stay at your super lodge.
WOW! What a place. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well equipped which made our stay extremely comfortable. The position of the lodge on the lakeside was fabulous with direct access to the lake if we wanted it. We would certainly recommend the lodge as somewhere great to stay with good access to local towns and sites eg Kendal, Morecambe Bay and Windermere. However we would like to make 2 small points. The name "Elim" did not appear on the Lodge as described in the advert so we were unsure we had the correct lodge until we tried the keycode. Secondly we would suggest that an information Welcome Pack is provided to describe the lodge facilities and how to use them eg TV, Microwave, how to switch on water supply, where to dispose of full rubbish bins. Many Thanks and we hope to visit again.
Really impressed with the size and condition of the accommodation.
It's position on the side of the lake was super the views accross the lake were smashing the ability to sit on the decking watching people using the lake was lovely and watching the swan family as the swam passed us daily was great. Would certainly recommend the holiday home and also the site to anyone wanting a restful break to go a head and book it .
