“Cottage was clean apart from the toilet which needed a clean through.”

Kitchen very well equipped - milk in fridge which was a nice touch.

Kitchen very well equipped - milk in fridge which was a nice touch. Double bed as listed - very firm mattress. Fly spray included - you might well need it, a lot of pesky flies around. TV with welcome access to Netflix - no DVD player if that matters to you. Parking immediately in front of the cottage - beware broken, loose stones underfoot. Location - superb! Excellent access to Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. Stainton is a lovely spot.

Thank you for your constructive feedback regarding your recent holiday at Rayside. We are glad that you were pleased with the accurate description of the property and the location is perfect isn't it? Please accept our sincere apologies regarding the toilet not having been cleaned. Please be assured, we have raised this with our cleaner so this should not happen again. Obviously this is not the standard of cleanliness we strive to achieve. In addition, we are aware that the front bricks need attention and we have plans to replace these in the near future. As we have been fully booked recently this has not been possible. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope this did not affect your overall stay at the cottage. We hope to welcome you back to Rayside again in the future. - Sykes owner relations
