  • "A cosy 70's style retro flat."

Lovely living room with nicely.placed tall lamps. A kitchen perfect for two and a cute dog mat for dog bowls. The bedroom was beautiful, warm and intimate. The bathroom had a modern feel and just big enough for two. I enjoyed lounging on the sofa with the comfy throw. I was able to rest, relax and enjoy my birthday. The added touches of biscuits and jam were welcome. The filtered coffee was too posh for me. I appreciated the card and small chocolates for my birthday. The garden that I had a quick look round with the dog was nicely laid out with the added touch of fresh herbs for the cooks. It would be nice place to sit in the summer. The off road parking was good too. Owners were helpful with my little queries and quick to respond. Overall an enjoyable stay I would recommend to any couple wanting a quite relaxing stay in a friendly place.

Enjoyed reading your review, beautiful writing style. You certainly understood the vibe we were going for, when designing the spaces. So glad you enjoyed your special birthday at 6A. Property Owner

The property was very clean and comfortable and the owners were so friendly and helpful. We were blessed with beautiful weather too which was a bonus. I highly recommend 6A.

Lovely personal touches by the owners make it just that bit more special. Spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Off road parking and use of the garden are a bonus. Bare village is a great location, with Princes Cresent a 2 minute walk away with it's shops, wine bar and micropub. The beach, with it's great views across the bay are just a 2 minute walk also. We will be back again!

So glad you had another lovely stay, hope to see you soon. Bare is such a lovely village with everything on your doorstep, if you just want to relax but also a great spot for exploring further afield either by car, bus or train. Property Owner

Everything good except the Great British weather but we still managed to get some walks each day. On one of the days we took the short train journey to Lancaster, A nice day out and only £6.20p for 2 return tickets. The property is great for us with everything we needed. We will return some time soon.

Lovely to have you stay again, next time you come go by train from Lancaster to Whitehaven, take a picnic, ( picnic bag etc available in kitchen cupboard, we have tried to think of everything ). Book seats with table, the train hugs the coast and the views are incredible especially crossing the bridge at Arnside. We took some cheeky little bottles of wine Cost about £20 return You can have a preview, watch Michael Portillo take the journey on his Railway series. Property Owner

The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was in a quiet area of Morecambe in Bare village which suited us and only 30 minutes stroll along the promenade to the town centre. Bare has a good selection of local shops and an excellent chippy. The bus stops are only 100 yards from the front door and the buses were very frequent so we hardly used the car at all.
