"Lovely bungalow in a very quiet road was absolutely great ."

. My only criticism is it could have been cleaner especially the bathroom but apart from that it was really lovely.

Really sorry the cleaner had not left the bungalow up to her usual standard, especially the bathroom. I shall mention this to the cleaner and check up on the standard myself. The bungalow has been very busy with continuous bookings. Some guests have been arriving before 3pm, which interrupts time allocated for cleaning and change over from 11am to 3pm. I will ensure improved cleaning standards are maintained. Property Owner

"This property has 3 well set out bedrooms."

Bedrooms are tidy and had lovely bedding. The kitchen is very equipped and the lounge/dining room is spacious. The bathroom had a great shower and the towels were good quality. Overall this is a decent property. There were a few things we noticed though. Only minor but bathroom had someone else's razor top near the loo and there were a few cobweb/dusty areas. The windows however let the property down. There was mould on the silicon sealant on the windows and the window frames weren't the best. The handle on the kitchen window was particularly grimy with caked on grease and dirt. This property is in a fabulous area. It's very quiet and in a perfect location to visit the local area. St Anne's and Lytham are beautiful and Blackpool is nearby for lots of fun and the many attractions. We even got to see the lights early. There's a welcome pack and lovely touches like tea, coffee and milk and washing up things etc. With a bit of TLC here and there this property would be stunning. There's a garden with tables and chairs and room for children to play freely. The tv is amazing and parking is plentiful. I have rated this 4 out of 5 star as there are so many positives . We enjoyed our stay thank you. We packed so much in and had a great time.

Thank you for your feedback suggestions. We have had a lot of bookings with change overs the same day. Sometimes only giving us from 11am to 3pm to clean and change over, with some guests arrive early. We appreciate your suggestions and will attend to these at the next change over. Sorry you found things not up to our usual standard. We endeavour to make improvements. Thank you for your positive comments. Glad you had a good time, there is plenty to see and do in the area. Hope you will return soon. Property Owner

"We stayed here for three nights as a family group visiting a local relative, and the property was spacious and perfect for our needs."

We appreciated the large lounge and dining area, in stylish and soothing decor. The property was very clean. The location was ideal and the owners were responsive. (Comment on listing: it states that one of the rooms is a twin, however all appeared to be doubles. However, perhaps beds can be separated in one room. This was not an issue for our group.)

In the largest bedroom is a Superking zip link bed that can be unlinked to become two single beds with bedding available in the wardrobe. We are happy to set the bed up as a twin room if requested. Property Owner

"Very well appointed and in great condition."

In a very quiet location. A great base for touring the area. Not a complaint, just helpful suggestion, but could do with some more clothes pegs for hanging out washing.

Thank you for your suggestion of more clothes pegs. I will provide more clothes pegs. Thank you. Property Owner

"The bungalow is exceptionally spacious and very tastefully furnished."

It was immaculately clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially as we were there in a heatwave and could use the lovely garden. We really enjoyed watching the helicopters and light aircraft fly over and the proximity to the regional airport certainly wasn't a problem. Rest assured, we will be visiting again

    "Beds were comfortable."

Missed bedside tables, but I think they are a work in progress. Spacious living/dining area. Good kitchen. Bathroom had a good shower, the sink and shower tray were dusty but everything else was spotlessly clean! Enjoyed a nice relaxing few days. I would recommend.

Thank you for your review. We have bedside tables now to put in bungalow. Sorry about the sink and shower tray I will remind the cleaner to ensure it is clean. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again sometime soon. Property Owner

"A beautifully renovated bungalow well equipped with good quality items."

Although close to airport this was no problem at all. Very quiet and peaceful. Well situated for all local attractions and a short 20 min walk to seafront. Local shops 10 min walk away.

Thank you for your review. Blackpool airport is not an international airport. We do not see or hear any small aircraft. Please let us know if you have any suggestions that could have made your stay more enjoyable. Property Owner

LYTHAM ST. ANNES

Blackpool 5.2 miles.

The seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes-on-Sea nestle along a picturesque stretch of coastline lined with pretty parks. For many centuries, the economy of this lovely area was dependent entirely on fishing until the beginning the Industrial Revolution, which resulted in the wealthy creating an affluent area, lasting until the present day. A short stroll from the Lytham seafront brings you to leafy Clifton Street, where you’ll find charming boutiques, restaurants and independent shops. Lytham Green, a strip of grass running between the shore and the main coastal road, is a notable landmark, overlooking the River Ribble with views of the Welsh Mountains on a clear day, and home to the restored Windmill and Old Lytham Lifeboat House museum. Those interested in craft gin can take a tour of the Lytham Gin co., whilst walkers and twitchers will adore the rolling sandy dunes of St Annes-on-Sea and the Ribble Estuary providing a safe haven for more than 250,000 migrating birds that return each winter. The area is internationally renowned for golf with four courses to choose from, the most notable being the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, one of the host courses for the Open Championship. Traditional seaside pastimes can be enjoyed at St Annes-on-Sea with a pretty pier and charming little beach huts in an array of pastels offering visitors a unique, exciting addition for a day beside the sea. A short walk from the pier brings you to St Annes Square and Wood Street, where you'll find charming coffee shops, tea rooms, restaurants and independent shops. Lovely long strolls, sunny afternoons on the sand or fun-filled frolics in nearby Blackpool, Lytham St Annes is a charming coastal destination with plenty to offer. Boating, cycling, shopping and swimming can all also be enjoyed nearby, along with award-winning restaurants, traditional pubs and wine bars should you fancy celebrating.
