Kitchen extremely well stocked . Location quiet and close to shops, pubs etc . Good communication with with owner and helpful information in the property .

We had a really lovely week at Hall View.

The house has everything that you need. It’s well equipped, cosy, comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. The countryside roundabout is stunning. We had a great week of weather and the people are all so nice and friendly too. This is definitely the best house and area we have been to. We loved it.

Second one week stay this year.

New build on a very pleasant, small development 10 mins walk from centre of town (uphill on the way back to house). Plenty of interesting walks and attractions in the general area. Good choice of places to eat in and around KS.

We really enjoyed our week at Hall View, once we had mastered the key to get in!

The place was spotless with very comfy beds. The garden was lovely although the weather prevented us from making the most of it. Nice to have fresh herbs growing. A washing machine would be useful if you get really wet and muddy.

We had a very relaxing holiday at Hall View.

The house had everything that we needed. Great to have a cloakroom downstairs. The house was very clean, cosy and comfortable. We were very lucky with the weather and sat outside in the beautiful garden. We loved it so much, we’ve booked it again for next year.

All items / equipment / appliances around the house were in very good condition and working perfectly.

A beautiful peaceful retreat to spend a holiday with amenities very close by. No complaints whatsoever !

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hall View.

It was well equipped and comfortable. Parking was easy. Didn't get to use the garden because of the weather, but it looked good from inside the house. It is close to the shops etc. in Kirkby Stephen.

When we arrived the house was freezing!

the thermostat showed 11 degrees. I would have thought that at this time of year the heat would be programmed to have come on at least half an hour before the arrival time. It took it ages to warm up. The kitchen was well equipped. 2 blue IKEA bags instead of 1 would have accommodated all the bedding and towels

Had a lovely, comfortable stay in the cottage.

It was exceptionally clean and well presented. Everything you need in the kitchen and plenty of games etc on bad weather days. We will definitely recommend this property as a base to explore the surrounding area.

Would have been convenient to have a washing machine.

In a walking / hiking area clothes can get muddy so a facility to wash them would have been a bonus. Had there been 4 people staying one of the seats in the lounge was uncomfortable but as there were just the 2 of us this was not a problem. Otherwise the property was perfect for our requirements and we would definitely stay again. The location was ideal so close to the town. Kirkby Stephen was most welcoming with everyone we met being so friendly

Ideal for 4 people and a short walk to the centre of Kirkby Stephen.

Lovely property in a nice peaceful setting.

Comfortable beds and sofa's. Nice big telly ;-). Well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed for our short break and we won't hesitate to return if in the area again, and also won't hesitate to recommend. Thank you. :-)

In a quiet location with shops near by.

My wife and I had a fabulous holiday staying at Hall View, a nice modern property, very clean and comfortable, only a five minute walk away from the town, and ideally situated to explore the Yorkshire Dales.

We would highly recommend this property for your holiday. Reviewed by Chris

Great location for transport festival but would fit in better with Friday to Friday let.

If traveling by train mainline station is a long way outside town. May well consider returning next year.

A fabulous property, immaculate and superbly situated for walks in the area.

5 minute walk to Kirkby Stephen high street. Off road parking on driveway and nice garden / views. Would definitely recommend.

We were on a working holiday, and both the location and the quality of the house were perfect.

We spent a week there last year too, and are determined to come back in the future and have a proper holiday. The area is beautiful and we very much enjoyed our meal at the Bay Horse in Winton on our last night. We wished we had discovered it earlier.

Stayed in July 23, probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed in.

The house is awesome, could not ask for more. Located in a quiet, almost brand new development. Kirkby Stephen is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Food - The Black Bull at Nateby definitely worth a visit. The Old Forge micro pub is also highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Hall View.

It's a nice modern property, very clean and a lot of thought has gone into providing everything you could need for your stay. It has a beautiful garden and the gazebo again was a great addition as we had very unsettled weather but we're still able to sit out under it. The property is very close to the town centre which was ideal. The only thing which could be improved is perhaps the seating in the living area. Our party was 2 couples and we had to take turns sitting on the yellow chair as it's not comfortable to sit on all night. Would be happy to book again in future.

Very comfortable and clean. Everything provided that you needed for your stay. Lovely walks in the area and some lovely pubs with really nice food. Would definitely go to this house again.

We had a lovely time at Hall View and the house certainly lived up to the description and photos shown on the website.

The small development is well kept and very peaceful with only a short walk into the town for all the amenities.

The cottage was extremely well equipped, so nothing to complain about.

But I checked to see if it supplied a hairdryer, so I did not have to bring my own, but there was no mention of one that I could find. However, there was an excellent hairdryer in the cottage, so maybe that could be added to your list.

Lovely, new house with very attractive garden.

The bed was very comfortable. This hasn’t always been the case in other properties we have stayed in! Everything was provided that we needed for our week long stay. The small estate was very quiet and close to the town. An ideal base to visit the surrounding area.

What a gem , we loved every thing about Kirkby Stephen and Hall view , the little town was small but perfectly formed .

It was a pleasure to come home each day to our well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated holiday home .The weather was very kind so we were able to really enjoy the gorgeous garden, we shared only with the butterflies and the bees , quiet , peaceful - perfect .
