"Great place to stay."
Very clean and comfortable and nice to see basics like tea, coffee, sugar etc already there. Have stayed there before and hope to stay there again.

"The property is in the most stunning location, with lovely views of the lake."
The flat is well stocked with everything you would need during a stay, it is warm , comfortable and beautifully presented . It was so nice to park the car and just be able to walk from the flat to whete we wanted to go. We had the most amazing weeks stay and are hoping to come back next year. Thank you

"We really enjoyed our first holiday in Silver Howe."
The accommodation is superb and the view of Grasmere Lake and beyond interrupted our reading time after time. The kitchen is very well equipped and we would have taken the bed and shower home with us if we could!
The location is perfect for exploring the local area and beyond. Our bus passes were used time after time as we visited Windermere, Hawkshead and Keswick.
Our walk around Grasmere Lake was a highlight. Quite beautiful.

"Perfect apartment for a short birthday break."
Really well equipped and comfortable. Great location and view of Grasmere. No need to use the car if you like walking. Walked from the door up Fairfield via Alcock Tarn on a perfect sunny day. Also on the route of my favourite run along the lakes and back along the coffin route. Lesser spotted woodpecker seen in the garden. We hope to return!

"An excellent property, warm, cosy and well equipped with private parking space."
The walk from Grasmere Village is uphill so guests should be prepared for that especially if you’ve just done a long hike on the fells.
The Coffin Route walk accessed from the gate in the garden located to the right above the terrace is a lovely walk and Rydal Hall at the Ambleside end has cafe with the best Hot Chocolate.
Just a couple of things: the lights over the table don’t work and the shower head holder is loose, (not holding the head up).
I’m so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
I appreciate and thank you for flagging up re the dimmer switch and shower head holder. They have now both been rectified.

"This is a gorgeous apartment, set in glorious private grounds."
It is furnished and finished to an incredible high standard, but at the same time still feels comfortable and homely. There is lots of great walking from the door. The only negative for me was the rambling 10 steps from the parking to the apartment as I have mobility problems.

"An amazing place to stay!"
Extremely comfortable with quality fixtures and fittings. Fantastic view from the main living room window. Excellent location with walks from the door and walk into Grasmere. Wi-Fi heating issue resolved quickly with the owner. Our preference would be to control this for ourselves. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip. A true home with all the finishing touches we look forward to having on our holiday.

"The shower did not have a non slip floor and although we are fairly fit for our ages we didn’t feel safe so bought a non slip mat to put in there."
Also it was quite chilly in the mornings and as the heating was operated by Wi fi, we did not know how to put it on.
Otherwise lovely apartment with wonderful view and able to watch the birds and red squirrels from the window.

Such a nice location, a beautiful decorated flat and very clean.
We will definitely be booking again.
The only slight small feedback I would give on this occasion would be, if it is possible, having an electric fan available in the flat would be amazing (we stayed on a very very warm weather week).
All round a wonderful stay.
